Abstract: A system comprises an image capture device, an augmented reality (AR) display to display, and a processing device. The processing deice receives image data of a dental arch from the image capture device and processes the image data using a plurality of detection rules, where each detection rule detects one or more dental conditions. The processing device determines a dental condition for the dental arch based on the processing, determines a position of an area of interest on the dental arch, wherein the area of interest is associated with the dental condition, generates a visual overlay comprising an indication of the dental condition at the position of the area of interest, and outputs the visual overlay to the AR display, wherein the visual overlay is superimposed over a view of the dental arch on the AR display at the position of the area of interest.

Abstract: Medical software tools platforms utilize a surgical display to provide access to specific medical software tools, such as medically-oriented applications or widgets, that can assist surgeons or surgical team in performing various procedures. In particular, an endoscopic camera may register the momentary rise in the optical signature reflected from a tissue surface and in turn transmit it to a medical image processing system which can also receive patient heart rate data and display relevant anomalies. Changes in various spectral components and the speed at which they change in relation to a source of stimulus (heartbeat, breathing, light source modulation, etc.) may indicate the arrival of blood, contrast agents or oxygen absorption. Combinations of these may indicate various states of differing disease or margins of tumors, and so forth. Also, changes in temperatures, physical dimensions, pressures, photoacoustic pressures and the rate of change may indicate tissue anomalies in comparison to historic values.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of measuring a physiological parameter in a contactless manner. The method includes acquiring a plurality of image frames for a subject, acquiring a first color channel value, a second color channel value, and a third color channel value for at least one image frame included in the plurality of image frames. The method further includes calculating a first difference and a second difference on the basis of the first color channel value, the second color channel value, and the third color channel value for at least one image frame included in the plurality of image frames. The first difference represents a difference between the first color channel value and the second color channel value for the same image frame, and the second difference represents a difference between the first color channel value and the third color channel value for the same image frame.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for blood pressure assessment using a wrist and cardiac device. In one embodiment, the wrist device receives a synchronization pulse, indicating cardiac onset, and generates blood-arrival signal data. In another embodiment, the wrist device receives cardiac signal data and generates blood-arrival signal data. The synchronization pulse or the cardiac signal data and the blood-arrival data are synchronized. The synchronization pulse or cardiac signal data and the blood-arrival signal data are processed to determine a pulse transit time between the heart and the wrist device. This pulse transit time and patient parameter are input into a trained neural network to generate an assessed blood pressure. The cardiac signal data can be generated by an electrical, acoustical, echocardiographic, or ballistocardiograph sensor. The blood-arrival signal data can be generated by an optical sensor, a tonometry sensor or a pressure-sensing sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for determining a user-specific hair treatment with determination and inclusion of the state of the hair. To this end, the content of at least one hair constituent is firstly determined with the aid of near-infrared and/or infrared and/or VIS and/or Raman spectra of the hair of an individual and a hair state is derived via a calibration model. Individual treatment advice is output on the basis of the determined hair state.

Abstract: Provided are systems for measuring an electrocardiogram (ECG) using a wearable device. An example system includes the wearable device. The wearable device has a means for recording an electrical signal from a single wrist of a patient. The wearable device also has a means for detecting a pulse of the patient and recording a photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal, via a PPG optical sensor associated with the wearable device. The wearable device further has a means for generating the electrical signal segments being time-locked to the PPG signal by utilizing the PPG signal as a reference signal. Furthermore, the wearable device has a means for summing the electrical signal segments in a given time period and dividing by the number of segments to produce an average ECG waveform.
