摘要： A credit card signature inspection system includes a card-sliding device and a credit card server. The card-sliding device produces a signature authentication request including credit card data and produces a bill to be signed. The credit card server includes a credit card database pre-stored with data of credit cards. Data of each credit card corresponds to an authentication signature of a credit card holder. The credit card server receives the signature authentication request and searches the credit card database based on the credit card data in the signature authentication request to produce an authentication signature corresponding to the credit card data. The authentication signature is transferred to the card-sliding device and displayed on the card-sliding device to check whether the authentication signature on the card-sliding device corresponds to the signature of the consumer for the bill, so as to determine whether to approve the proceeding of the transaction.

摘要： A system for facilitating image management for portable devices, which includes a host configured to maintain information relating to a first portable device and a second portable device and an interface device configured to communicate with the host and the portable devices. The interface device includes control logic configured to: determine whether the first portable device is valid for image synchronization using information provided by the host in order to record an image of the first portable device, determine whether the second portable device is valid for image synchronization in order to download an image of the first portable device to the second portable device. The interface device further includes control logic configured to: determine whether the second portable device is valid for image replacement using information provided by the host so as to retrieve an image of the first portable device and download the retrieved image to the second portable device. The interface device also includes control logic configured to: determine whether the second portable device includes additional information that is not included in the image of the first portable device in order to concatenate the additional information with the image of the first portable device, and download the concatenated additional information and image of the first portable device onto the second portable device.

摘要： A proximity device transmits a first dynamic authentication value contactlessly to a terminal. The first authentication value is included in a discretionary data field of message data arranged in an ISO Track 1 and/or ISO Track 2 format. Message data is sent from the terminal to an issuer. The issuer separately derives a second authentication value and compares it with the first authentication value. An identifier associated with the primary account number (PAN) is also used and transmitted instead of the PAN.

The system further includes a processor 7 for deriving timing information for the validator events and for comparing the data and timing information with predetermined criteria. Personnel alerts are raised when predetermined criteria are satisfied, and maintenance of validators may be scheduled in dependence upon criteria related to assessments of tokens resulting in rejection.

摘要： A method and system for enhanced check image privacy are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention provide a way to automatically link the results from quality assurance software to a check image archive to appropriately mark images as unretrievable by customers. Images are interrogated with a data matching algorithm to determine whether a confidence score expressing a likelihood that the image matches associated, stored magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) data is below a pre-set threshold. The image can be then automatically designated in the financial document archive. The image can be displayed to an operator for analysis when the confidence score is above the pre-set threshold and below a pre-set limit, or in cases where the confidence score cannot be determined by the data matching algorithm.

The system also includes an authentication computer having a memory for storing information used to generate a comparison verification value, a communication device for receiving the dynamic verification value originating from the peripheral device, a processor and an authentication module executable by the processor adapted to generate the comparison verification value using information stored in memory. The authentication computer determines whether to authorize the financial transaction based on whether the comparison verification value matches the received dynamic verification value.
