The light-transmissive cover member is arranged such that at least part of the light-transmissive cover member faces the image display surface. The light-transmissive cover member is a single crystal that contains alumina (Al2O3) as a main component. Due to the light-transmissive cover member, the transmittance of light having a wavelength of 260 nm is less than 92% of the transmittance of light having a wavelength of approximately 550 nm.

A stretch release adhesive is disclosed. The stretch release adhesive can be used for extracting an electrical component from an interior surface of a housing of a mobile computing device. The stretch release adhesive can have a double-sided adhesive body configured to adhere the component to the interior surface of the housing. A portion of the double-sided adhesive body is configured to extend out from between the electrical component and the interior surface of the housing to provide a graspable portion. When the stretch release adhesive is adhered between the electrical component and the internal surface of the housing, the stretch release adhesive can receive a pulling force at the graspable portion. If pulled with enough force, the stretch release adhesive will extend outwardly from between the electrical component and the internal surface of the mobile computing device, then completely release the electrical component from the mobile computing device.

A folding, handheld wireless communication device that is designed to be carried in a hip pocket like a wallet. The advent of curved touch-sensitive glass will facilitate the design of wireless devices that conform to the user's body. Wallets have much greater interior volume and surface area than today's smartphones, which are plagued by design compromises that result from the need to tightly pack components into small spaces. The advantages of this novel design include ruggedness, better antennae, a full QWERTY keyboard with a complete set of symbols, a large and removable/replaceable battery, a larger and more-functional display, better speakers and sound, and space to accommodate extra features such as earbuds and their wires.
