摘要： A mobile terminal device, which is provided with the plurality of keys, includes: a detection interface for detecting touching any of the keys by a user; a press detection interface for detecting pressing the key by the user; a controller for executing a first function assigned to the key at the time of detection of the user touching the key in a case where touching time period, for which the user touches the key, is equal to, or longer than, a predetermined judging time, and for executing a second function assigned to the key at the time of detection of the user touching the key in a case where the touching time period is shorter than the predetermined judging time; and an output controller for displaying an explanation on the first function on a display unit in a case where the touching time period is equal to, or longer than, the predetermined judging time.

摘要： A communication support system includes a switching unit which connects a telephone unit through a transmission path to a telephone network when the switching unit is set in a first state, and disconnects the telephone unit from the telephone network by cutting off the transmission path when the switching unit is set in a second state. A ringer detection unit detects a ringer signal from the telephone network. A determination unit determines, in response to the detection of the ringer signal, whether the switching unit is to be set in one of the first state and the second state in accordance with first switching control data. A switching control unit controls setting of the switching unit in one of the first state and the second state in response to a control signal, indicative of the determination, sent by the determination unit.

摘要： An electronic conference support system having a structure in which one main common information processing apparatus having a common display unit having a size sufficiently large for attendants to commonly look and some personal information processing apparatuses for permitting each attendant to exclusively create, display and edit information adjacent to each attendant are connected to one another to form a network communication structure through a data communication passage. When a certain attendant acquires an operation right, an information input space is displayed on the personal display unit of the attendant while permitting the attendant to input information. Information inputted to the information input space is, after completed and as an information object, displayed on the common display unit of the common information processing apparatus and the personal display units of all of the personal information processing apparatuses. The attendant of the conference is enabled to easily input information and other attendants who look the attendant's operation are enabled to be free from adverse stimulus.
