摘要： A cable manager includes a first portion and a second portion that cooperate to retain at least one cable. The first portion of certain types of cable managers is configured to be held in one or more rotationally fixed positions relative to the second portion. For example, the second portion may include at least one retaining arm that extends at least partially over a cable cradle of the first portion when the second portion is rotated to a closed position and that allows access to the cable cradle when rotated to an open position. The first portion of certain types of cable managers is configured to be held in one of a plurality of axially fixed positions relative to the second portion to accommodate cables of different diameters.

A chassis processor is electrically coupled to a processor port of the chassis backplane.

摘要： A cable management device and assembly includes an electrical structure having plurality of connectors for receiving connectors of a plurality of cables. A fixed support bar is spaced from and aligned with the connectors. A plurality of cable retainer members are coupled to the support bar for managing and aligning the bundle of cables coupled to the connectors. The cable retainers have a first open recess at a first end with a central axis extending in first direction, and a second open recess at a second end with a central axis extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first central axis. The first open recess mates with the support bar to slide along the length of the bar and rotate or pivot around the bar to orient the cables in a selected position and pattern. The second open recess has a dimension for coupling with the respective cable.

A cable storage bay is located at one of the right and left sides of the rack and defines front and rear cable storage areas. Both the front and rear cable storage areas include cable management structures for managing and guiding cables toward and away from the connection locations. A trough is defined at the top of the rack, the trough configured for extending cables to other racks in a front to rear direction, the trough also defining a cable drop-off communicating with the cable storage bay for extending cables to either of the front or rear cable storage areas for further connection to the connection locations.

The front cable support has a generally U-shaped tray that is connected to the first and second server equipment rails such that the tray extends across a front of the network cabinet, transverse to the server equipment rails.

More specifically, the cable consolidation box can allow a network administrator to physically secure network cables originating from multiple networks having distinct security classifications. In one or more implementations, the cable consolidation box can have a plurality of entry points that are segregated from one another. Each of the plurality of entry points can be associated with a corresponding plurality of segregated connection chambers. The cable consolidation box can thus allow for various types of cables, with various levels of security classification, to be associated with a single cable consolidation box.
