    摘要: A system is shown for providing domestic hot water for potable use. The energy source is a steam powered heat exchanger. Water is heated in a heat engine package including the heat exchanger, a temperature operated pump and a condensate control valve. The heat package works in conjunction with a water storage package including a water storage tank and an electronic controller which controls the operation of the pump and condensate control valve. The electronic controller is operated so that the control of steam supplied to the system and flow of water through the heat exchanger ensures that steam is only present in the heat exchanger when there is a predetermined high flow rate of water.

    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention is a boiler for boiling water to produce steam, having (1) an evaporating section comprising (a) a combustion chamber for burning fuel with air and generating hot flue gas, (b) an evaporating heat exchanger around the combustion chamber for exchanging heat between the flue gas and water to produce the steam which exits the boiler; and (2) a condensing section comprising (c) a condensing heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the hot flue gas from the combustion chamber and a low-temperature water return having a temperature below approximately 100° F., generating flue gas condensate, which leaves the boiler, wherein the low-temperature water return is heated by the hot flue gas in the condensing heat exchanger before entering the evaporating heat exchanger for additional heating. The disclosed vacuum condensing boilers make vapor vacuum steam more efficient and economical for industrial, commercial, and home applications.

The ventilation system may exhaust internal air from and draw fresh external air into a designated space. When an outdoor temperature is below a freezing point, some of the internal components of the ventilation system may be damaged due to the low external air temperature. This ventilation system controls operation of a supply fan and/or an exhaust fan based on the temperature of supplied and/or exhausted air to prevent such damage.

    摘要: A boiler unit comprises an enclosure including: a first circuit of a first fluid heat exchange medium, the first circuit N having a heating device to heat the first medium, a boost heat exchanger, a valve and a first manifold; a second circuit of a second heating system fluid heat exchange medium, the second circuit having a flow and return port of the boiler unit, a second manifold and said boost heat exchanger for exchange of heat between said first and second heat exchanger media when said valve is open; a space in the enclosure receiving an auxiliary unit to be driven substantially exclusively by said first fluid heat exchange medium; and a boiler control unit to control operation of the heating device according to heat demand of the heating device and otherwise irrespective of the auxiliary unit when connected; and an organic rankine cycle (ORC) unit comprising: a third fluid heat exchange medium circuit, the circuit including a condenser adapted for connection to said second manifold to provide heat to said second circuit, a pump to circulate said third medium, an evaporator adapted for connection to said first manifold to heat said third medium and a rotary expander connected to an electricity generator; and an auxiliary control unit to control the ORC unit and operate said valve.
