    摘要: A tube cutting apparatus includes an inner blade (3), a drive shaft (1), a coupling shaft (2), a planetary gear (5), and a ring gear (6). The outer blade (4) has an inner peripheral surface which contacts an entire circumference of an outer periphery of a work W so as to cover a predetermined axial range of the outer periphery. The drive shaft (1) is rotatably supported inside the work W coaxially with the work W and defines a bore (11) therethrough at a position decentered by a predetermined amount within the drive shaft (1). The coupling shaft (2) is rotatably supported in the bore (11). The inner blade (3) is rotatably retained on an eccentric shaft (22) decentered at a front end portion of the coupling shaft (2) and is positioned inside the work W. The planetary gear (5) is positioned outside the work W and fitted on a rear end portion of the coupling shaft (2) coaxially and meshes with the ring gear (6). As the drive shaft (1) rotates, the inner blade (3) rotates while radially displacing the position of a portion of an outer periphery of the inner blade (3) which projects most outwardly in a radial direction of the work W.

The cutter (402) is configured to score an internal surface of the tube stub along an axial direction of the tube stub. A controller (403) associated with the apparatus (400) controls the axial and rotational movement of the arbor (401) to create one or more cuts in the tube stub to facilitate removal of the tube stub from the drum.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for slitting flexible sheet material of indeterminate length wherein the material is advanced along a predetermined path of travel to and past a slitting station, is formed into a transversely curved configuration as it is advanced, and is slit at the slitting station in a predetermined pattern of spaced, transversely extending rows of spaced slits with the slits in adjacent rows being in predetermined staggered relation. The apparatus includes a circular rotary knife and means for traversing the knife transversely of the curved sheet material. The periphery of the knife blade includes a plurality of spaced cutting edges adapted to penetrate the sheet material to form transverse rows of slits as the material is advanced through the apparatus.
