    摘要: A mold for uniform heating and molding of work material to form a workpiece of variable thickness using a microwave oven includes upper and lower mold members and a sidewall mold member. Metal inserts, with irregular inner surfaces defining a mold cavity, are positioned adjacent opposed planar surfaces of the upper and lower mold members. The mold members are formed from material selected to have an effective thermosensitivity equal to that of the work material. The effective thermosensitivity of work material is its dissipation factor divided by the product of its dielectric constant, density and specific heat multiplied by the fraction of the mass of work material divided by the total mass of work material and metal inserts. The effective thermosensitivity of the material of inner layer of mold member is its dissipation factor divided by the product of its dielectric constant, density, and specific heat and multiplied by the fraction of the mass of its inner mold layer divided by the total mass of this mold member.

The clamp comprises a blade member and a trough member hingedly coupled to the blade member and having a blade member receiving channel. At least one of the members comprises integrally molded first and second portions, being respectively a rigid portion of a first relatively hard plastics, and a soft or comfortable-feel portion of a second relatively deformable plastics. The clamp can be formed using two-shot molding. The channel also includes an elongate constriction for releasably retaining the blade member in the channel, providing a mechanical interlock along the entire length of the clamp.     摘要: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for injecting material into a substrate. The apparatus 10 comprises a needle assembly having a needle 14, a movable central portion 26 and a substantially stationary top portion 26. The material to be injected 17 is threaded through apparatus 10 into needle 14, and is cut to the desired length by cutter 18. When needle 14 penetrates a substrate, an additional portion of material 17 is fed into the apparatus 10, and when needle 14 is removed from substrate 12, the additional material pushes into needle 14, forcing cut portion 16 to remain in the substrate. In the method of using the apparatus, additional steps for orienting the angle of the apparatus, and steps of controlling the concentration of the injected material in the substrate may be included.
