    Abstract: A latch assembly is provided where the latch is moveable to open and close a door by operation of a dead lock assembly that blocks or unblocks movement of a bolt. In a blocked state, a blocking cartridge of the dead lock assembly is prevented from inward movement, blocking inward movement of the bolt. Turning a door knob or door handle causes a spindle extending through the dead lock assembly to move locking bars of the dead locking assembly, the locking bars moving further apart to permit the blocking cartridge to slide there between and move inwardly into the latch housing. The bolt can now move inward by force of the doorjamb upon the bolt in order to clear the doorjamb when opening and closing the door.

    Abstract: A deadbolt lock includes a positioning member mounted to a lock part. A protective member includes a recess formed in one side thereof and is mounted to the lock part and the positioning member. A covered area is formed between the positioning member and the protective member. At least one fixing member is connected to the positioning member and located within the covered area. An outer cover is mounted to the protective member and the positioning member. The at least one fixing member is compact in size to reinforce the protective member to reduce manufacturing cost. The protective member and the outer cover are not damaged by impact from outside of the deadbolt lock to enhance safety features of the deadbolt lock.

    Abstract: A camera housing includes a main body having four sides that form a cavity to receive a camera, a door detachably coupled to the main body, and an exposed area in the main body allowing a user to manipulate a button on the camera or access an I/O or microphone interface of the camera. The camera housing includes an indicator window substantially aligning with a visible indicator on the camera, a latch detachably securing a first side of the door to a first side of the main body; and a hinge coupling a second side of the door to a second side of the main body. The camera housing includes securing protrusions that interlock with corresponding mounting protrusions extending from a camera mount. A front face and a rear face of the camera are exposed when the camera is secured by the door in the camera housing.

The housing has a longitudinal axis and defines an aperture along the longitudinal axis. The aperture includes a cutout area. The cap and the bushing are mounted within the aperture for rotation about the longitudinal axis. The cap comprises an outer surface including a drive projection and a cutout area. The bushing comprises an upper surface and a sidewall positioned between the cap and the housing. The sidewall defines a drive surface positioned to contact the drive projection of the cap and an opening. The ball is positioned within the opening of the bushing. The ball is configured to be positioned at least partially within the cutout area of the housing or the cutout area of the cap.
