    摘要: A fuse connection structure which is capable of receiving and retaining standard fuses when dark current fuses are not used, in such a manner that the standard fuses are protected from external forces and are positively held in position. The fuse connection structure includes a fuse holder (1) having dark current fuses (8) mounted therein, and a fuse block body (7) to which the fuse holder can be attached, the fuse block body having connection terminals. The fuse holder (1) includes a dark current fuse insertion portion (5) holding widthwise opposite ends of the dark current fuses, a cover portion (6) provided outside of the fuse insertion portion, and ribs (2) and (3) interconnecting the fuse insertion portion and the cover portion. The fuse block body (7) has relief portions (16) for the ribs (2) and (3). The ribs (2) and (3) extend in a direction of a thickness of the dark current fuse relative to the dark fuse insertion portion (5). The fuse block body (7) has protective walls (10) opposed respectively to the widthwise opposite ends of each of the fuses such that the protective walls do not have the relief portion (16). The fuse block body (7) has fuse-fixing ribs (11) for acting on opposite sides of fuses, the opposite sides facing away from each other in a direction of a thickness of the fuse.

    摘要: A holder is provided for a cylindrical electrical safety fuse having conductive end caps. A hollow housing receives the fuse therein through a front side which is closeable with a closure cap. A compression spring at a back end of the housing biases the fuse against a conductive metal inner cap disposed interiorly of the end cap. The inner cap has a radially extending contact tab. A terminal pin is provided to conductively engage the contact tab. The terminal pin has a contact portion with a perpendicularly-extending base, a cantilevered front leg extending from and overlying the base, and a cantilevered spring leg extending from a second end of the base so that the spring leg is disposed intermediately between the front leg and the base and also overlies the base. A clamp slot is defined between the front leg and the spring leg to form an electrical contact with the contact tab.

    摘要: Disclosed is a fusible link which assures that a fuse element is completely and firmly received in a housing without any occurrence of incorrect contact of a male terminal with an opponent female terminal. Lances slantwise extending from a fuse element received in a housing are engaged with stepped engagement portions. While a cover is fitted to the housing, a plurality of projections extending from the cover are brought in contact with electrical contact portions of the fuse element so that the fuse element is firmly received in the housing at a predetermined position. Consequently, the fuse element is reliably received in the housing in the double engaged state without an occurrence of incorrect insertion of the fuse element.

    摘要: A fuse box assembly including a fuse box and a fuse holder. The fuse holder has a saddle configuration and overlies one of the terminal sockets of the fuse box. The fuse holder includes an opening to receive the body of a fuse and the fuse holder is mounted on the fuse box for movement between an operative position in which the terminal tabs of the fuse are received in the associated terminal socket of the fuse box and a raised, inoperative position in which the terminal tabs of the fuse are removed from the terminal socket. The holder includes a pair of legs which extend downwardly along opposite side walls of the fuse box and which include slots which coact with pins on the side walls of the fuse box to provide a detenting action to positively maintain the holder in its raised, inoperative position. The holder serves to readily identify those fuses which must be moved to an inoperative position to avoid draining the associated energy source during periods of non-use of the associated electrical system; maintains the displaced fuse in a known position during the periods of non-use; and allows the fuse to be readily reinserted into the terminal socket of the fuse box at the conclusion of the period of non-use.
