Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a conveyance portion, first, second and third blowing units. The conveyance portion conveys a sheet on which an image is formed by ejecting ink. The first blowing unit blows air onto the sheet conveyed by the conveyance portion. The second blowing unit includes a heater and blows air heated by the heater onto the sheet conveyed by the conveyance portion. The third blowing unit is disposed between the first blowing unit and the second blowing unit with respect to a sheet conveyance direction. The third blowing unit includes a suction portion sucking a part of the air of the conveyance portion, a duct portion through which the air sucked by the suction portion flows and a blowing portion blows the air flowing through the duct portion onto the sheet.

Abstract: A printing apparatus, including a discharging head for discharging ultraviolet-curable ink droplets, an energizer to supply energy to the ink droplets, a carriage with the discharging head and the energizer mounted thereon movable in a main scanning direction, and a controller, is provided. The controller forms a dots-linked portion having a plurality of the ink droplets landed on the printable medium being linked with one another and cured in a shape elongated in the main scanning direction. The controller forms both a dividing dot and a divided-dots linking portion or the divided-dots linking portion alone. The dividing dot is formed of a single one of the ink droplets cured independently at a position to one of adjoin and overlap the dots-linked portion in the main scanning direction. The divided-dots linking portion has a plurality of the ink droplets being linked and cured in a shape elongated in a sub-scanning direction.

Abstract: A method and equipment to form a digital print by applying dry colourants on a surface of a panel, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. The method of forming a digital print on a surface of a panel includes displacing the panel under a digital drop application head, applying a liquid binder with the digital drop application head on the surface; applying colourants on the liquid binder and the surface; bonding a part of the colourants to the surface with the liquid binder; removing non-bonded colourants from the surface such that a digital print is formed by the bonded colourants; and applying heat and pressure on the panel, the surface and the bonded colorants such that the colourants are permanently bonded to the surface.

Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a head unit and a gap adjustment device. The head unit includes one or more inkjet heads. Abstract: A medium heating apparatus includes a heating unit to heat a medium, a control unit to control the heating unit, a main frame to house the control unit, a sub frame attached to the main frame, and an air blower that blows air to the control unit. The heating unit includes a heat source. The heating unit and the main frame are arranged in a first direction. The main frame and the sub frame are arranged in a second direction. An intake port is open at the main frame, a ventilation port in communication with the intake port and an air drawing port in communication with outside of the sub frame are open at the sub frame. The blower blows air into the main frame through the intake, the ventilation and the air drawing ports. The air drawing port does not overlap the heating unit in the second direction.
