    摘要: A resist underlayer film forming composition wherein a flat film forms exhibiting high etching resistance, a good dry etching rate ratio and optical constant, has good coverage, and a small difference in film thickness after embedding. Also included are a resist underlayer film using the resist underlayer film forming composition; and a method for producing a semiconductor apparatus. This resist underlayer film forming composition includes: at least one compound of formula (A); at least one polymer of formula (B); and a solvent. (In formula (A), X represents a C2-C50 n-valent organic group, and n Y's represent a C6-C60 aromatic hydrocarbon group having at least one hydroxyl group, n represents an integer of 1-4.)     摘要: A method to prevent corrosion of a susceptible article of a two-article system, in which first and second articles of the two-article system have surfaces facing one another and in which the two articles have different anodic indices includes applying a coating material to the surface of the first article and curing the coating material on the surface of the first article. The method further includes contacting and securing the surface of the first article with the surface of the second article. The two articles exhibit substantially no corrosion following exposure to a corrosive environment under standard GMW17026 for a 15 year simulated test.

    摘要: Articles including durable and icephobic polymeric coatings are disclosed. The polymeric coatings include a bonding layer which may contain a substantially fully cured polymeric resin providing excellent adhesion to metallic or polymer substrates. The polymeric coating further includes an outer surface layer which is smooth, hydrophobic and icephobic and, in addition to a substantially fully cured resin, contains silicone comprising additives near the exposed outer surface. The anisotropic polymeric coatings are particularly suited for strong and lightweight parts required in aerospace, automotive and sporting goods applications. A process for making the articles is disclosed as well.
