Abstract: An electronic device adapted for adjusting a light effect of a CCFL is provided. The electronic device is electronically connected to the CCFL. The electronic device comprises a PWM controller configured to receive at least a digital signal and to output a specific-frequency reference signal according to the digital signal, a driver electronically connected to the PWM controller and configured to output a first voltage signal according to the specific-frequency reference signal, and a transformer electronically connected to the driver and the CCFL. The transformer amplifies the first voltage signal to generate a second voltage signal and sends the second voltage signal to the CCFL. A light effect is generated by the CCFL according to the second voltage signal.

Abstract: A light emitting module adapted to a mainboard is provided. The mainboard includes a side edge. The light emitting module comprises a circuit board and a light guide bar. The circuit board is detachably attached to the mainboard and adjacent to the side edge of the mainboard. A plurality of light emitting elements are disposed at the circuit board. The light guide bar is disposed at the circuit board, when the light emitting module is assembled to the mainboard, the light guide bar uniformly guides light from the light emitting elements. Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a directional keyword verification method and an electronic device using the same method. According to an exemplary embodiment, the proposed keyword verification method would include receiving an audio stream; analyzing the audio stream to obtain at least a word; determining whether the word matches a key word from a keyword database; assigning the word as a filler if the word does not match the keyword from the keyword database; determining whether a vowel pattern of the word matches the vowel pattern of the keyword if the word matches the key word from the keyword database; assigning the first word as a trigger or command word if the vowel pattern of the word matches the vowel pattern of the key word; and otherwise assigning the word as a filler if the vowel pattern of the word does not match the vowel pattern of the key word.

Abstract: A connector structure adapted to an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing with an open slot. The connector structure comprises a tongue-shaped portion, a covering component, and a connecting member. The tongue-shaped portion is pivotally connected to the housing and disposed in the open slot. The covering component is pivotally connected to the housing and for covering the open slot. Abstract: A hinge component for an electronic device includes a fixing member, a rotating member and a central shaft. The fixing member includes a side plate and two fixing plates, a curved guiding rail is formed on the side plate. The rotating member includes a rotating portion, a connecting portion and an engaging portion. The fixing member and the rotating member are assembled to the casing and the back plate of the electronic device. The fixing member is disposed inside the casing but not exposed. As a result, the electronic device is made thinner. The hinge component is not easily damaged under an external force, and the lifecycle of the hinge component is improved. The rotating portion rotates around the connection of the back plate and the casing as a virtual rotating axis. At the same time, the central shaft is driven to slide in the curved guiding rail.

Abstract: A proximity sensor and a mobile communication device thereof are provided. The mobile communication device includes an antenna structure, a matching circuit, a capacitance sensing circuit and a processing circuit. The matching circuit couples to the antenna structure. The capacitance sensing circuit couples to the matching circuit. The capacitance sensing circuit senses a capacitance variation on the antenna structure via the matching circuit and accordingly generates a proximity sensing signal. The processing circuit is coupled to the capacitance sensing circuit to receive the proximity sensing signal. When a signal level of the proximity sensing signal exceeds a first threshold value, an object is determined approaching, and when the signal level of the proximity sensing signal exceeds a second threshold value, a human body is determines approaching. The first and the second threshold value are different.
