Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a nasal breathing monitoring system with a sensor (e.g., an ultrasonic transducer or microphone) to be placed on or near the outside of the user's nose and record a signal corresponding to the user's nasal breathing. The recorded breathing signal may be digitized and analyzed, e.g., based on its spectral characteristics, in order to determine one or more breathing characteristics of the user's breathing. The system may then adjust some system parameter based on the determined one or more breathing characteristics, e.g., a signal gain, a filter, feedback to the user, etc. The system may also use the one or more breathing characteristics to: recognize a particular user's identity, present a breathing exercise to a user, tailor particular user feedback, or compare the user's breathing characteristics to historical breathing data for the user and/or historical breathing data from other users obtained via an anonymized database.

Abstract: Sensors capable of detection of user objects within different detection zones can be used to reduce power consumption of a touch screen interface of an electronic device, even while the device is in a suspended or sleep state. At least one object sensor, such as a capacitive sensor, has a detection zone or range exceeding the range of a touch screen sensor, so the touch screen sensor can be placed into a low power state until the object sensor detects a user object in a position approaching the touch screen. The object sensor(s) are positioned around or within the perimeter of the interaction area of the touch screen. The object sensor(s) can have less power consumption than the touch screen sensors, so the electronic device can have extended standby battery life or other more energy efficient operation. Object sensors are also used to detect gestures or user object positioning.

Abstract: The head mountable electronic device can include a display frame and a securement arm extending from the display frame. The securement arm can include a proximal segment including a first contact feature, a distal segment including a second contact feature, the proximal segment disposed between the distal segment and the display frame, and a joint, the distal segment rotatably coupled to the proximal segment at the joint, wherein an interior side of the securement arm defines a interior radius of curvature and an exterior side of the securement arm opposite the interior side defines an exterior radius of curvature, the exterior radius of curvature being greater than the interior radius of curvature.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for SRS antenna switching. A UE may transmit, to a base station, a capability message indicating an antenna configuration associated with SRS antenna switching e.g., via as RRC signaling. The capability message may indicate at least one of (and/or one or more of) a one transmit point (1T) and six receive point (6R) SRS resource set configuration, a 1T8R SRS resource set configuration, a 2T6R SRS resource set configuration, a 2T8R SRS resource set configuration, and/or a 4T8R SRS resource set configuration. The UE may receive, from the base station, a configuration message, e.g., via RRC signaling. The configuration message may indicate an SRS antenna switching configuration based, at least in part, on the capability message. The UE may transmit, to the base station, one or more SRSs, e.g., according to the SRS antenna switching configuration.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes configured to provide multi-access edge computing (MEC) functionality are disclosed herein. An TAB node includes a distributed unit (DU) having a local application instance of a MEC-enabled application. The local application instance is configured for communication with a first user equipment (UE) connected to the TAB node. A mobile termination functionality (MT) of the IAB node uses a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer to transport data of the local application instance between the MT and an IAB donor. Further, data of the local application instance is transported between the UE and the TAB node via one of a variety of methods, including the use of a second PDCP layer at the DU (and optionally the use of service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layers at each of the DU and the MT), and/or via sidelink.

Abstract: A camera may one or more lenses and an image sensor having an array of light-gathering pixels. The pixels may generate image signals based on light passing through the lenses. The camera may include at least one pixel output settling assist circuit. The pixel output settling assist circuit may be electrically coupled to an output signal line of at least one of the pixels. The pixel output settling assist circuit may include a pixel output voltage change detection circuit and a bias current adjustment circuit. During read-out of the image signals of the at least one pixel, the pixel output voltage change detection circuit may detect a change of a voltage at the output of the pixel. The bias current adjustment circuit may generate and adjust a current injected to the output based on the detected change of the voltage at the output.
