Abstract:
A drive arrangement for moving a glass panel of a window of a vehicle has a motor and an input member connectable with the motor means for moving the glass panel. The input member is rotatable in two opposite directions so as to close or to open the glass panel. At the same time, the input member is displaceable between a first position in which it is coupled to a drive shaft of the motor and is rotated by the latter, and a second position in which the input member is uncoupled from the motor so as to be rotated by hand. A lock is provided which is inoperative in the position when the input member is coupled to the motor, and is operative in the position when the input member is uncoupled from the same. When the lock is operative permits rotation of the input member for closing the glass panel, but does not permit the rotation for opening of the latter so that unauthorized opening of the glass panel is prevented. The lock is formed as an overrunning lock provided with a locking element.
Abstract:
An automatic door opening and shutting device is disclosed. The present device comprises a support having an upper tube movable up and down toward a fixed lower tube, a driving source mounted on the upper tube of the support, a friction drive means for carrying out a friction drive of the door by transmitting power of the driving source to the door and a detecting means for detecting either person or vehicle coming in and out of the door, wherein a clockwise an anticlockwise actuation of or stop of the friction drive means can be controlled automatically by signals transmitted from the detecting means or the like.
Abstract:
A door operator for driving a track guided door through opening and closing cycles, including a rotating shaft and drive member movable therealong in response to rotation wherein the drive member is resiliently coupled to a door. A locking mechanism is provided for locking the door in closed position and an emergency device enables opening of the door when power is not available.
Abstract:
A sliding door is closed by a reversible power-driven slide, movable horizontally and having a hook normally coupled to a detent on the door for causing the door to move with the slide in a closing direction. A coupling hook pivoted on the slide, and spring loaded toward operative position, is retracted or uncoupled from the detent at the conclusion of the door closing movement by the engagement of a retracting lever arm on the hook with a fixed stop, thus releasing the door from the slide so that it may be subsequently manually opened. For opening of the door by remote control, a return or reverse movement of the slide, and its abutting engagement with the detent, transmits opening movement to the door while, at the same time, reengaging the hook for use in subsequently closing the door by remote control.
