Abstract: A fitting arrangement for a window or a door has a drive bar with a through-hole. A control pin and/or a counter element of the fitting arrangement is/are passed through the through-hole and connected to one another such that the control pin is captively retained on the drive bar. The control pin is preferably connected to the counter element without the use of tools. Abstract: A sliding panel system is disclosed. The system includes a fitting assembly designed to fixedly secure a first panel to an elongate rail member, and a carrier assembly designed to moveably secure a second panel to the elongate rail member. The system facilitates the lateral movement of the second panel with respect to the first panel. The carrier assembly includes at least one carrier unit including a housing with an inner volume, at least one roller unit configured in an upper portion of the inner volume, at least one guide member configured in the inner volume, and an opening extending across the front of the housing and adapted to receive a longitudinal portion of the rail member. The at least one roller unit and the at least one guide member are concealed within the housing when the housing is viewed from a perspective perpendicular to the front of the housing.

Abstract: A rear door assembly includes a rear opening and a roof structure having a recessed area. A carrier is movable along a portion of the recessed area between a rearward location to a forward location. A motor is attached to the carrier and the vehicle. The motor is operable to move the carrier relative to the roof structure and the rear opening between the rearward location and the forward location. A rear door has a hinge pivotally supported to the carrier for movement therewith. The rear door is movable between a door closed orientation covering the rear opening, an intermediate orientation partially exposing the rear opening and a door open orientation exposing the rear opening. A linear movement device has a first end attached to the carrier for movement therewith and a second end attached to the rear door at a location spaced apart from the hinge.

Abstract: A method for driving an electromechanical sliding door in a transportation vehicle, wherein the sliding door has an adjusting mechanism with a rolling carriage guided in a guide rail and a first electric drive motor. A fixing mechanism with a second electric drive motor and also a locking mechanism is also provided, which locking mechanism allows the rolling carriage to be arrested in any desired position. Here, the locking mechanism is driven by the second electric drive motor. The method may include driving the second electric drive motor with an input voltage which lies below a threshold voltage for tripping the locking mechanism, continuously increasing the input voltage for the second electric drive motor, and locking the locking mechanism when the input voltage for the second electric drive motor exceeds the threshold voltage for tripping the locking mechanism.

Abstract: In a window regulator which moves a slider base, slidable along a guide rail, via a pair of wires, the slider base includes: a guide portion which is fitted to the guide rail to be movable in the longitudinal direction thereof; first and second wire engaging portions with which ends of the wires are engaged, respectively; and first and second force application portions which receive a force in a moving direction of the slider base from the wires, and the guide portion is positioned in at least one of the areas between the first force application portion and the first wire engaging portion and between the second force application portion and the second wire engaging portion in the widthwise direction of the guide rail. This makes it possible to obtain a window regulator which is superior in smoothness of operation and operating efficiency of the slider base.
