Abstract: This application provides a base station switching method and an apparatus. The method includes: A terminal sends one piece of binding signaling that carries SIM card binding information to a source base station; the terminal switches a plurality of SIM cards from being connected to the source base station to being connected to the target base station; and the terminal sends radio resource control reconfiguration complete information to the target base station, where the radio resource control reconfiguration complete information includes information about the plurality of SIM cards that complete the switching operation.

Abstract: A search space monitoring method allows a terminal to monitor a power saving signal in a search space in a scenario in which the power saving signal can be applied to a long discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a short DRX cycle. The method includes, when using the long DRX cycle, monitoring, by the terminal, the power saving signal in a first search space, and skipping monitoring the power saving signal in a second search space, where the power saving signal indicates power saving information of the terminal; and when using a short DRX cycle, monitoring, by the terminal, the power saving signal in the second search space, and skipping monitoring the power saving signal in the first search space.

Abstract: This application provides a scheduling method and apparatus. The method includes: a network device uses a scheduling model applicable to K users for one or more times, and determines a scheduled terminal device based on scheduling weights output by the scheduling model for one or more times. Each time the scheduling model is used, status information of K terminal devices in n to-be-scheduled terminal devices is input to the scheduling model, and the scheduling model outputs scheduling weights respectively corresponding to the K terminal devices, where K is an integer greater than 1, and n is an integer greater than K. Therefore, regardless of a quantity of to-be-scheduled terminal devices in a communication system, the network device may reuse the scheduling model without re-establishing a scheduling model, so that the scheduling model is expandable and applicable to scenarios in which quantities of to-be-scheduled terminal devices are different.

If a compressed data packet is lost during transmission, a receive end cannot decompress a data packet corresponding to a same buffer as the lost data packet, but the receive end can continue to decompress a data packet that does not correspond to the same buffer as the lost data packet.
