    Abstract: In an aspect an apparatus receives information as part of a handover command, the information received from a serving cell and including radio resource information used in a neighboring cell for V2X communications. Additionally, the apparatus transmits, from the UE, a request for V2X communication resources as part of a handover command. In another aspect an apparatus transmits a serving cell SIB to a UE, the SIB including a reception pool. The apparatus transmits a cell ID in the serving cell SIB for a neighboring cell. The reception pool is a transmission pool for the neighboring cell. The apparatus relinquishes a communication with the UE to a base station in the neighboring cell.

    Abstract: Various aspects related to selecting a resource selection procedure for V2V communications are described. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus for selecting a resource selection procedure for V2V transmissions, is described. The apparatus, e.g., a UE, may be configured to identify that recent sensing history information at the UE is unavailable for a sensing based resource selection procedure. The UE may be further configured to select, in response to identifying that the recent sensing history information is unavailable, a resource selection procedure based on configuration information obtained from a network entity. In various configurations, the UE may select a resource for a V2V transmission based on the resource selection procedure selected based on the configuration information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure enables the assignment of multiple semi-persistent resource assignments at the same time for use in V2V communications. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE (e.g., a vehicle). The UE may determine at least one resource pattern required for V2V communications. The UE may also send assistance information for the at least one resource pattern to a base station. Further, the UE may receive, from the base station, a response associated with the at least one resource pattern. In an aspect, the response may include an index of approved resource patterns. Further still, the UE may receive, from the base station, an activation grant for a resource assignment for the at least one resource pattern. In an aspect, activation grant may include the index of approved resource patterns being activated.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, base stations and user equipments may use a hybrid operation mode to allocate resources in a cellular vehicle-to-everything communication system. For example, a user equipment (e.g., a vehicle) in the system may receive, from a base station, an indication that the user equipment belongs to at least one group of user equipments for group-level resource allocation, receive, from the base station, an allocation of resources including a pool of resources assigned to the at least one group of user equipments, and reserve a subset of resources of the pool of resources for communication to at least one other user equipment. This communication may be an example of a vehicle-to-everything communication over a sidelink communication channel.

    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication is provided. The apparatus determines, through sensors of a first vehicle, second-vehicle information associated with a second vehicle. In addition, the apparatus generates at least one safety message to include the determined second-vehicle information of the second vehicle. Further, the apparatus transmits the at least one safety message. The apparatus improves the performance/benefit of V2V communications technology by transmitting BSMs for other vehicles, including non-V2V vehicles without such V2V communications technology. Accordingly V2V vehicles will be able to better assess the traffic situation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. One method for wireless communication at a first device includes receiving a multicast packet from a second device, decoding control header information in the received multicast packet, determining that a decoding procedure associated with a payload of the received multicast packet is unsuccessful and transmitting a negative acknowledgement (NACK) based at least in part on the determining. The method also includes retrieving a list of transmitter identifiers. In some cases, transmitting the NACK is based at least in part on the list of transmitter identifiers. The method further includes determining a transmitter identifier associated with the multicast packet and determining that the transmitter identifier is present in the list of transmitter identifiers.
