摘要: A system has a surge bin, a distribution conveyor assembly, an elevating conveyor assembly, and a receiving conveyor assembly. The surge bin has an internal storage compartment, a top input opening, and a bottom output opening. The distribution conveyor assembly has a distribution frame attached at an input end thereof to an upper portion of the surge bin, and a distribution conveyor mounted on the distribution frame. The elevating conveyor assembly has an elevating conveyor configured to receive granular material at an elevating input and discharge the received granular material selectively to the top input opening of the surge bin or to the distribution conveyor input. The receiving conveyor assembly has a receiving station configured to receive granular material from a discharge of a transport vehicle, and a receiving conveyor operative to transfer the received granular material from the receiving station into the elevating input.

摘要: A method for updating firmware of cable modems optimizing management resources in a network comprising a web application, network collector, more than one cable modem, one or more servers. The method includes the web application receiving an update firmware policy, the policy defined by a list of cable modems to have their firmware updated, a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) pointing to a file within a server in the network, and the web application adding a policy with this information to a policies table. The network collector polls a database engine for a new policy and computing a list of cable modems to have their firmware updated, and the network collector sends a command to a cable modem to update to a new firmware, wherein the new firmware is specified by the URI.

摘要: A system includes an optical waveguide configured to receive multispectral radiation from a scene, a first optical component and a second optical component. The first optical component is configured to cause a first portion of the multispectral radiation with wavelengths in a first range to exit the optical waveguide at a first position, and a second portion of the multispectral radiation with wavelengths in a second range to travel through the optical waveguide from the first position to a second position via total internal reflection. The second optical component is configured to cause the second portion of the multispectral radiation to exit the optical waveguide at the second position.

摘要: A system electronically monitors the consumption of gas adsorbent media in a media bed. The system includes a controller and a monitoring rod having a plurality of sensors disposed on the monitoring rod. The sensors are in communication with the controller. Each sensor includes a corrodible portion having an exposed electrically conducting material susceptible to corrosion by a corrosive agent, a first lead in electrical contact with a first end of the corrodible portion, and a second lead in electrical contact with a second end of the corrodible portion. The corrodible portion, the first lead and the second lead together form a continuous communication path to the controller, and the monitoring rod is at least partially disposed in the media.

摘要: A laser sustained plasma lamp includes a mechanically sealed pressurized chamber assembly (330) configured to contain an ionizable material. The chamber assembly is bounded by a chamber tube (310), an ingress sapphire window (340), a first metal seal ring (320) configured to seal against the chamber tube ingress end and the ingress sapphire window, an egress sapphire window (342), and a second metal seal ring (322) configured to seal against the chamber tube egress end and the egress sapphire window. A mechanical clamping structure (350, 355) external to the chamber assembly is configured to clamp across at least a portion of the ingress sapphire window and the egress sapphire window. The ingress sapphire window and the egress sapphire window are not connected to the chamber tube via welding and/or brazing.

摘要: An apparatus configured to sense presence and motion in a monitored space is presented. The apparatus includes a dual-element assembly with a first thermal sensing element and a second thermal sensing element configured to produce a direct current output that is sustained at a level substantially proportional to an amount of thermal energy being received at the thermal sensing elements. A lens array (or equivalent optics) is coupled to the elements, having a plurality of lenses directing incident thermal energy from a plurality of optically-defined spatial zones onto the sensing elements. An electronic circuitry is configured to read a resulting signal of the dual-element assembly and an individual output signal of each the first thermal sensing element and the second thermal sensing element.
