Abstract:
A method and apparatus for nanocrystallizing a metal surface by laser-induced shock wave-accelerated nanoparticles. The apparatus comprises a control system, a light guiding system, a workbench control system and an auxiliary system, wherein the auxiliary system comprises an air compressor, a paint feeder device, a nanoparticle nozzle, a powder feeder device, an exhaust, a sealed working chamber and a metal nanoparticle recycler device. The method comprises the following steps: pre-processing and fixing a workpiece; activating the air compressor to feed a powder; controlling and adjusting the paint feeder device to eject a black paint; transmitting a high-power pulse laser beam; recycling excess metal nanoparticles; and rinsing non-vaporized/ionized black paint off a surface of the workpiece.
Abstract:
A compound having the general structure shown in Formula I: or pharmaceutically acceptable salts and/or solvates thereof are useful in treating diseases or conditions mediated by NK1 receptors, for example various physiological disorders, symptoms or diseases, including emesis, depression, anxiety and cough.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to piperidinone carboxamide azaindane derivatives which are antagonists of CGRP receptors and useful in the treatment or prevention of diseases in which the CGRP is involved, such as migraine. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and the use of these compounds and compositions in the prevention or treatment of such diseases in which CGRP is involved.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a main body, an electronic assembly and an ejecting mechanism. The main body is formed with a retaining space, and the electronic assembly is retained in the retaining space of the main body. The ejecting mechanism includes an operating member that has a main portion and a connecting portion disposed on the main portion. The operating member is rotatable on the connecting portion and is disposed in the main body while the lifting section is disposed between the main body and the electronic assembly. The operating section is operable to drive the lifting section to push the electronic assembly out of the retaining space.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for displaying a program execution window based on a user's location and a computer system that embodies the method, wherein a window of a selected and executed program is displayed on a selected local zone of a displaying screen. The computer system includes a microprocessor, a system memory, and a program storage device storing therein a program-window-displayed-location control program and application programs that can be selected and executed by a user. When the microprocessor executes the control program, the control program detects if any one of the application programs is selected by the user and uses a user location identification device to determine which one of a plurality of local zones that constitute the displaying screen that the user is located on. Then, a window of the execution of the selected application programs is displayed on the one of the local zones of the displaying screen.
Abstract:
A threshold voltage detection apparatus comprises a voltage level up-shifter and a voltage level down-shifter. The threshold voltage detection apparatus is placed at a circuit fabricated in a low voltage semiconductor process. The threshold voltage detection apparatus receives an input signal having a wide range and generates output signals comprising the logic of the input signal, but having a voltage range suitable for the low voltage circuit. The threshold voltage detection apparatus ensures that the low voltage circuit operates in a range to which the low voltage semiconductor process is specified.
Abstract:
Information in a screen of another display device such as a television or a computer monitor can be captured by a display device including a transparent display, a camera unit, an input unit, and a control unit. The transparent display allows a user to view the screen through the transparent display. The camera unit produces screen images corresponding to the screen. The input unit produces selection parameters in response to a selection operation corresponding to a virtual image of the screen seen through the transparent display. The control unit determines objective(s) in the screen according to the screen images and the selection parameters. The control unit may transmit the objective data corresponding to the objective(s) to the transparent display, thereby enabling the transparent display to display objective-related information corresponding to the objective according to objective data.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a far-end control method with a security mechanism including a host transmitting an identification code through the PSTN (Public switched telephone network) to the I/O control device of the far-end. The I/O control device has a CPU to receive the identification code and judge whether the identification code matches with the predetermined value stored therein; if the identification code matches with the predetermined value, the mobile internet connection between the host and the I/O control device is activated to enable the host to mutually transmit information or signals with a far-end control device from the I/O control device through the mobile internet, and the connection will be disabled after the information or signal transmission is completed. Thus not only the damage caused by line occupied from the hacker invasion or error signal transmission is reduced, but also the cost and power consumption without connecting the mobile internet between these two ends all the time is reduced.
Abstract:
An enterprise management software system that provides configuring scoping elements based on business scenario. The enterprise management software system may executed on computing devices to perform a method. The method may comprise providing an option to perform scoping by business scenario, and upon selection of scoping by business scenario, displaying a plurality of pre-defined business scenarios. Further, the method may comprise displaying a process flow of the selected pre-defined business scenario upon selection of a pre-defined business scenario, and providing immediate changes to scoping elements based on the selected pre-defined business scenario.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of image touch panel, which comprises the steps of first extracting a background image, comparing the background and a touch image for producing a positioning image, positioning a location of the touch image according to the positioning image for giving the location touched by a user, and hence executing the corresponding function. Thereby, the function of a touch panel can be achieved. By adopting the method of image touch panel according to the present invention, it is not necessary to purchase a physical touch panel to own the functions the touch panel has for executing the functions provided by an electronic product with ease. In addition, the present uses mid- to low-end cameras, and hence reducing the costs.
