A color conversion method includes determining a race by recognizing a skin region in an input image, selecting a preferred skin color to apply to the skin region based on a plurality of preferred skin color information preset per race, and correcting a color of the skin region using the selected preferred skin color. Additionally, a color conversation apparatus includes a control unit to determine a race by recognizing a skin region in an input image input, and to select a preferred skin color to apply to the skin region, based on the plurality of the preferred skin color information stored in a storage unit, and a compensation unit to correct a color of the skin region using the preferred skin color selected by the control unit. Hence, the skin color per race can be adequately converted to the color which can satisfy the user.

Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for allocating resources for enhanced multicast broadcast service (E-MBS) data in a wireless communication system. A base station divides a frequency region into at least one frequency partition and allocates subbands of KSB,E-MBS number as the resources for the E-MBS data in the frequency partition. One sub-band includes sub-band logical resource units (SLRUs) of N1 number and the SLRUs of N1 number have continuous indexes among a plurality of physical resource units (PRUs) included in the frequency partition and are the PRUs to be allocated to contiguous resource units (CRUs).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for configuring a ranging channel in various frame structures and using the same in a communication system. A ranging channel is effectively configured according to a data structure, namely, frame structure, transmitted and received between a mobile station (MS) and a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system, and ranging information is transmitted therethrough to thereby improve performance of a communication channel and resource efficiency. In the wireless communication system, a ranging channel is configured by using a time interval, such as an idle time, an idle symbol, an RTG, a TTG, and the like, not actually used for transmission of data or a signal in a data structure, namely, in a frame structure, transmitted and received between an MS and a BS, to transmit ranging information, so the channel performance and resource efficiency can be improved.
Abstract:
Provided are a method of determining a brightness value of a target area on an optical image, and a computer-readable recording medium including a program for executing the method on a computer. Target brightness values of a plurality of target areas in an optical image are accurately compared with each other by plotting a graph with brightness values depending on positions within a subject.
Abstract:
A transformable enclosure enabling increased functionality, such as storage capacity, is provided. The apparatus enables modular units to be attached to increase capacity without compromising the integrity of the overall structure. The apparatus includes a housing that contains a signal processing circuit, the housing including interfaces for coupling a plurality of removable modules to the circuit, a base coupled to the housing that supports the housing in at least two orientations. The apparatus operates in a first mechanical orientation without the plurality of removable modules coupled to the interfaces and operates in a second mechanical orientation with the plurality of removable modules coupled to the interfaces. A cooling device provides cooling for the circuit in the first mechanical orientation and the plurality of removable modules in the second mechanical orientation.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting cyclic prefix length information when wireless access systems having different cyclic prefix lengths coexist is disclosed. The method of transmitting cyclic prefix length information comprises including the cyclic prefix length information in a preamble; and transmitting the preamble to a receiving end, whereby a transmitter can notify the receiving end of a current cyclic prefix length. Also, in a specific interval where a super frame header is defined, a single cyclic prefix length is used in a legacy support mode and a legacy disable mode, and cyclic prefix length information of other data or control channel is included in the super frame header and then transmitted to the receiving end. If different CP lengths are used in a legacy support mode of an evolved system, it is possible to solve a problem in detecting a control channel or a data channel, which may occur as the CP lengths are not distinguished from each other after preamble detection.
