    摘要: A bicycle pedal assembly includes a cleat, a front cleat-retaining member, and a rear cleat-retaining member. The front cleat-retaining member is formed integrally with a pedal body, is generally inverted U-shaped, and includes a thin middle portion and two thick side portions, among which a limiting groove is defined under the thin middle portion. The cleat has a front end engaging portion with a wide lower portion inserted into the groove and confined between inclined limiting surfaces of the thick side portions, and a narrow upper portion abutting against an arcuate concave limiting surface of the thin middle portion. Two arcuate convex connecting surfaces connect the inclined limiting surfaces to the arcuate concave limiting surface.

    摘要: A bicycle pedal assembly includes a pedal body, a cleat, and a clamping unit for pressing a rear insert member of the cleat against a rear support portion of the pedal body. The pedal body includes a front support portion, a front stop element extending upwardly from a front end of the front support portion, and an upper stop element extending rearwardly from an upper end of the front stop element. A front insert member of the cleat is confined between the front support portion and the upper stop element of the pedal body. A cleat-pushing member is disposed movably on the pedal body, and is adjustable to press against the cleat. As such, the front insert member of the cleat is pressed against the upper stop element so as to prevent movement of the cleat relative to the pedal body.

    摘要: A bicycle pedal device includes a pedal body, and upper and lower cleat retaining units mounted respectively on two opposite side surfaces of the pedal body. The pedal body includes a tubular portion adapted to be mounted rotatably on a bicycle pedal shaft, and a pair of front and rear U-shaped frame sections integrally formed with two sides of said tubular portion. Each of the U-shaped frame sections has two transverse bar sections which extend integrally and transversely from the tubular portion, and an axial bar section which interconnects the outer ends of the transverse bar sections so as to define a pair of front and rear spaces each of which is located between the tubular portion and one of the axial bar sections. The cyclist's shoe can be retained on the pedal body by either of the cleat retaining units.

    摘要: A quick-release clipless pedal includes a cleat to be secured to a shoe sole and a pedal body to be mounted on a pedal shaft and releasably retaining the cleat. The cleat has first and second engaging parts respectively formed on front and rear ends thereof. The pedal body includes a frame portion and a tubular portion which partitions the frame portion in a transverse direction. The tubular portion receives one end of the pedal shaft. The frame portion has front and rear ends respectively formed with an opening. The pedal body further includes a pair of cleat engaging members respectively provided on upper and lower sides of the tubular portion and respectively having a claw portion to receive releasably the first engaging part of the cleat, and a pair of retaining units revertably engaging the second engaging part of the cleat. The cleat is rotatable relative to the pedal body so as to disengage the first engaging part from the claw portion. Rotation of the cleat causes the cleat to push hook units of the retaining units rearward, thereby causing the hook units to pivot and allow a lateral disengagement of the cleat from the pedal body.

The message of the rotating speed and the tilted angle message may be obtained by a cadence sensor which is packaged in a ring housing.
