Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filling apparatus for filling containers with fluid products, and to the respective method, wherein the apparatus comprises a rest area arranged outside of a filling path and of a filling area, the rest area is accessible to the operator without interrupting the filling of the containers and actuating means to reciprocally move a first and a second filling unit from an operating condition to a rest condition; wherein in an operating condition one between a first and second filling unit is arranged in the filling area and able to be in fluid communication with the containers to be filled; and wherein in the rest condition the other between the first and second filling unit is arranged in the rest area accessible to the operator without interrupting the filling of the containers in the filling area.
Abstract:
A method and unit for filling a disposable electronic cigarette cartridge with a liquid substance; a conveyor feeds the disposable cartridge along a filling path; a coupling device fits the disposable cartridge with a metering chamber, which is placed on top of the disposable cartridge, is of sufficient volume to contain a full measure of the liquid substance, and has a bottom outlet conduit terminating inside the disposable cartridge; a feed device feeds the liquid substance into the metering chamber so that the liquid substance falls by gravity from the metering chamber, along the outlet conduit, into the disposable cartridge; and a removing device removes the metering chamber from the disposable cartridge once all the liquid substance has fallen by gravity from the metering chamber, along the outlet conduit, into the disposable cartridge.
Abstract:
A storage unit, wherein a store receives a succession of substantially parallelepiped-shaped products from an input conveying unit at an input and in a given feed direction, and releases a succession of rows of products to an output conveying unit at an output separate from the input; the store having a conveying device, which extends through the input and the output, has a number of elongated pockets for receiving respective rows of products, and moves in a direction crosswise to the pockets to move the pockets from the input to the output along a path portion of variable length extending about at least one pulley having an axis of rotation parallel to the pockets and to the feed direction and movable transversely to vary the length of the path portion between the input and the output.
Abstract:
A method and unit for changing the configuration of an automatic machine, whereby a user selects a desired end configuration by means of a selection device, and a display device then displays an orderly list of all and only the operations to be performed on the machine to convert the machine from a current start configuration to the desired end configuration; the list is arranged according to the sequence in which the operations are performed, and for each operation are displayed the state of at least one respective operating value in the start configuration, and the state of the same operating value in the end configuration.
Abstract:
Method and machine to assemble a transponder (9) provided with a helical antenna (11) in a component (1) of an article. The following are provided: a main conveyor (15) which is designed to move, along an assembling path (P) a carriage (16) carrying at least one seat (18) designed to house the component (1); an input station (S1), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) and is configured to place the component (1) in the seat (18) of the carriage (16); a feeding station (S4), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) downstream of the input station (SI) and is configured to couple an integrated circuit (10) provided to two electrical contacts (12) to the component (1); a winding station (S5), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) downstream of the feeding station (S4) and is configured to wind an externally insulated conductor wire (13) around the component (1) in order to obtain a series of turns making up the helical antenna (11); and a welding station (S6), which is arranged along the assembling path (P) downstream of the winding station (S5) and is configured to weld two opposite ends of the helical antenna (11) against the two electrical contacts (12) of the integrated circuit (10).
Abstract:
A capping station has a first conveying system designed to move a plurality of full bottles; a second conveying system, arranged above the first conveying system, designed to move a plurality of caps; a capping device designed to pick up at least one cap from the second conveying system in order to apply the cap to a bottle carried by the first conveying system; and a heating unit comprising at least one heating device, a support beam carrying the heating device, a main operating device designed to move the support beam between a rest position in which the heating device is far from the bottles and a work position in which the heating device is close to the bottles to heat at least the neck of the bottles, and a safety operating device independent of the main operating device, designed to move the support beam between the work and rest positions.
Abstract:
A method to restore the functional state of an automatic machine for the production or the packaging of consumer products. The method comprises the steps of: storing a first knowledge base containing a plurality of problematic operating conditions having a corresponding known fault; training the data processing system by associating ate least one solution to each problematic operating condition and storing a second knowledge base containing the solution; identifying a current operating condition; searching, among all the problematic operating conditions stored in the first knowledge base, for the problematic operating condition that is the most similar to the current operating condition; and communicating to an operator the solution associated with the corresponding problematic operating condition and stored inside the second knowledge base.
Abstract:
A pack for consumer articles comprising: a plurality of consumer articles arranged in a row extending along a longitudinal extension of the pack; and a parallelepiped-shaped box, which houses the consumer articles and has two bottom walls parallel and opposite one another and arranged orthogonally to the longitudinal extension of the pack, and four side walls arranged parallel to the longitudinal extension, in pairs, parallel to and opposite one another. The box comprises: an extraction opening for the articles arranged at a distance other than zero from both bottom walls and is obtained through at least one side wall; and a closing tab hinged along a hinge so as to rotate between an open position, in which it is spaced apart from the extraction opening, allowing the consumer articles to be extracted, and a closed position, in which it covers the extraction opening, preventing the consumer articles from being extracted.
