摘要: A high voltage power supply system includes a DC-to-DC converter for producing a DC low voltage, a DC-to-AC inverter connected to a step-up transformer for producing an AC high voltage by transforming an AC low voltage obtained from the DC low voltage, and an inverter controller for controlling an operation time period of the DC-to-AC inverter longer than that of the DC-to-DC converter. Since a residual charge stored in a capacitor of the DC-to-DC converter is rapidly discharged by lengthening the operation time period of the DC-to-AC inverter, an unwanted AC high voltage is induced at a secondary winding of the step-up transformer.

摘要: A contact cap is attached to a top cover of a camera of a dental tooth measuring apparatus, and when shooting, positioning of the tooth to be measured is performed with a bite section being slightly bitten by both of adjacent teeth sandwiching the tooth to be measured, and with keeping a state where the inside of the adjacent teeth is in contact with a camera side surface of a positioning convex section. Positioning of the tooth to be measured and the adjacent teeth with variation among individuals with respect to the camera can be performed more precisely.

摘要: A dental color measurement tool disposed opposite an opening portion for capturing light from an artificial tooth to undergo color measurement with a color measurement device includes at least one pair of guide posts having an engaging portion corresponding to an engaging portion on the color measurement device side, and an abutment post disposed between the pair of guide posts and having a pointed convex shape to which the artificial tooth can be mounted. The abutment post has a color measurement reference surface in a color measurement light axis direction as the vicinity of a focus position of the color measurement device in a photographing state. When performing color measurement photographing, the artificial tooth is mounted to the abutment post to position the front thereof at the color measurement reference surface. Thus, the artificial tooth can be stably retained at a suitable position with respect to the color measurement device.

摘要: A sufficient anti-fogging effect for an optical component is realized, regardless of variation in resistance value of a transparent conductive film over time. There is provided an anti-fogging system for an optical component, comprising a transparent conductive film covering a surface of an optical component that reflects or transmits light, a resistance value detection section for detecting a resistance value of the transparent conductive film, a characteristic storage section for storing an electrical temperature characteristic of the transparent conductive film, a control section for controlling power supplied to the transparent conductive film based on the electrical temperature characteristic stored in the characteristic storage section and resistance value of the transparent conductive film detected by the resistance value detection section, and a temperature characteristic update section for updating the temperature characteristic of the transparent conductive film stored in the characteristic storage section.

摘要: In a semiconductor device, a metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) is formed in a semiconductor substrate, and an isolation layer is formed on the semiconductor substrate so as to extend along a side of the semiconductor substrate. A first conductive layer is formed on the isolation layer along the side of the semiconductor substrate so as to be electrically connected to a gate of the MOSFET. A second conductive layer is formed on the isolation layer along the side of the semiconductor substrate so as to be electrically connected to a drain of the MOSFET. A protection circuit is made of at least two diodes which are defined between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer.

摘要: A motortricycle with oscillation mechanism including left and right suspension arms respectively swingably mounted onto a vehicle body frame, rear wheels mounted respectively onto the outer portions of the left and right suspension arms. An oscillation mechanism permitting leftward and rightward oscillation of the vehicle body frame relative to the side of the suspension arms is provided between the suspension arms and the vehicle body frame, and an engine for driving the left and right rear wheels is mounted onto the vehicle body frame. Since the engine of the motortricycle is mounted on the vehicle body frame rather than on the suspension arms, weight on the suspension arms can be largely reduced, and the riding comfort can be further enhanced.

摘要: A tricycle with independently-suspended rear wheels and having a rocking mechanism and a single shock absorber used to effect the damping action of both the left and the right suspension arms connected to the rear wheels. The left and right suspension arms are connected by a shock absorber and arcuate links and bell cranks provided at the opposite ends of the shock absorber. In response to upward and downward movement of the left and right suspension arms, the single shock absorber can be expanded and contracted to effect damping action of the left and right suspension arms. Accordingly, weight and cost can be reduced when compared with a conventional tricycle having two shock absorbers, one provided for each of the left and right suspension arms.
