摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for protocol data unit (PDU) session management over different access technologies (ATs) are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first message from a network over a first access technology. The first message may include an indication for the WTRU to reestablish resources for one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions over a second access technology. The WTRU may determine that a PDU session of the one or more PDU sessions is locally deactivated by the WTRU. The WTRU may determine that it is in a limited service state associated with the second access technology. The WTRU may send a second message via the first access technology. The second message may include a PDU session status information element (IE) indicating the PDU session is locally deactivated such that the network releases the PDU session.

摘要: An apparatus may be configured to determine whether to prioritize a sidelink (SL) logical channel group (LCG) based on an SL prioritization threshold and a UL prioritization threshold, on a condition that a UL prioritization threshold is configured. The apparatus may be configured to determine whether a prioritization value associated with the SL LCG is lower than the SL prioritization threshold. The apparatus may be configured to determine (e.g., at least) whether an uplink (UL) LCG has a prioritization value that is equal to or higher than the UL prioritization threshold. The apparatus may be configured to determine whether to prioritize SL buffer status reporting (BSR) based on a size of a UL grant and the determination of whether to prioritize the SL LCG. The apparatus may be configured to report a buffer status based on the determination of whether to prioritize the SL BSR.

摘要: Embodiments include methods and apparatuses for providing access to a network slice in a communication system. In an embodiment, a network server that implements a Control Plane (CP) Network Function (NF) may receive a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) message from a wireless transmit and receive unit (WTRU). The NAS message comprises a Mobility Management (MM) message for registration and a Session Management (SM) messages for a specific service provided by the network slice. After selecting the network slice, the network server may transmit the SM message to another CP NF in the network slice to establish a communication link between the WTRU and the network slice.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receiving a first set of one or more initial access signals from a Transmission/Reception Point (TRP), wherein the first set of one or more initial access signals indicates that the TRP is in a dormant state, sending an echo signal to the TRP, wherein one or more transmission parameters of the echo signal are derived from the first set of one or more initial access signals received from the TRP, monitoring for a second set of one or more initial access signals from the TRP after transmitting the echo signal, and receiving the second set of one or more initial access signals, the second set of initial access signals comprising information associated with accessing the TRP. Sets of one or more initial access signals may be received from a plurality of TRPs in an area. The second set of one or more initial access signals may be received from a TRP that is closest to, or has a strongest signal strength for transmitting to, the WTRU.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions via a radio access network (RAN) node. The WTRU may transition to an inactive state. The WTRU may send a connection resume message to a RAN node that indicates a request to resume the established plurality of PDU sessions via the RAN node. The WTRU may receive a message from the RAN node. For example, the RAN node may send a message indicating a subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available upon resuming a connection with the RAN node. The WTRU may deactivate at least one established PDU session of the plurality of PDU sessions based on the received message from the RAN node that indicates at least one established PDU session not being included in the subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for waveform design and signaling for energy harvesting (EH) in a wireless network are disclosed. In an example, a method includes receiving a control message including a contention-based backscattering configuration, determining parameters for transmitting a feedback within a contention-based transmission window based on the contention-based backscattering configuration, detecting feedback transmissions sent by other WTRUs within the contention-based transmission window, wherein each feedback transmission includes an EH capability indication, determining whether an EH capability detected from the feedback transmissions matches the EH capability of the WTRU, if a matched EH capability is detected from the feedback transmissions within the contention-based transmission window, delaying a transmission of the feedback, and if no matched EH capability is detected from the feedback transmissions within the contention-based transmission window, transmitting the feedback using the determined parameters.

摘要: Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing may be determined. Physical SL feedback channel (PSFCH) resource pool selection may be performed. A source WTRU may (e.g., determine to) signal a PSFCH resource based on channel state information (CSI), transmitter (TX)-receiver (RX) distance, and/or CBR. A destination WTRU may determine sub-channels to include PSFCH resources based on a PSCCH/PSSCH resource and/or WTRU PHY ID information. One or more resource blocks may be determined within a sub-channel for PSFCH transmission based on the WTRU PHY ID and/or a Link ID. A first set of symbols in a slot may be sensed to detect a PSSCH and/or a PSSCH+PSFCH transmission to (e.g., determine to) transmit a PSFCH in the end of the slot without colliding with the PSSCH. A WTRU may switch to a dedicated PSFCH resource pool or Mode 1 transmission upon failure to acquire PSFCH resources in a shared PSFCH resource pool.

In one example, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured with an associate between range information and zone configuration. The WTRU receive an indication of a specific range information requirement and determine its own zone location based on the configured information and location means (e.g., GPS). The WTRU may also receive zone location information of a transmitting device, and determine the distance between the WTRU and the transmitting device.
