Abstract:
A method of operating a data processing system includes compressing a first part of uncompressed data, and determining whether to compress a second part of the uncompressed data based on an expected data size of the compressed first part and an actual data size of the compressed first part. The method further includes transmitting one of first transmission data and second transmission data to an external memory device based on a result of the determining. The first transmission data includes the compressed first and second parts, and the second transmission data includes the first and second parts of the uncompressed data.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a structure of an FPC integrated touch panel. According to preferred embodiments of the present invention, a transparent substrate configured of a flexible transparent film is provided and an extension part protruded to the transparent substrate is integrally formed with the transparent substrate, such that a separate FPC needs not to be manufactured, thereby saving process time and manufacturing costs. In addition, the exemplary embodiments of the present invention bend an inactive area unnecessarily occupying an area of the transparent substrate to a side of the touch panel, thereby implementing a touch panel widening a substantial area of an active region.
Abstract:
An apparatus for measuring ganglion cells may include: a light generation unit configured to irradiate a first light signal polarized in a first direction and a second light signal polarized in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to a subject; a reflected light processing unit configured to generate an amplification signal corresponding to an image of the subject using a first reflection signal, which is the first light signal reflected from the subject, and a second reflection signal, which is the second light signal reflected from the subject; and an image processing unit configured to measure ganglion cells in the subject using the amplification signal. The apparatus may be used to count the number of normal ganglion cells in the retina by measuring a phase difference of two lights polarized in different directions. The apparatus may also be used to monitor the progress of glaucoma.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a conductive film and a method for manufacturing the same. The conductive film includes: electrode layers each formed on both surfaces of a transparent substrate by exposing/developing a silver salt emulsion layer and containing silver; and optical filter layers formed between both surfaces of the transparent substrate and the electrode layers or between one surface of the transparent substrate and the electrode layer to selectively block light. The optical filter layer is used, thereby making it possible to prevent exposure of the silver salt emulsion layers formed on both surfaces of the transparent substrate from affecting the silver salt emulsion layers formed on surfaces opposite to each other.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a structure of a touch panel capable of solving a depletion problem of resources used for a transparent conductive layer, in particular, improving a moiré phenomenon occurring during a image projection process when a metal electrode in a mesh shape is formed on both surfaces of the transparent substrate, by replacing ITO and forming electrodes using a metal thin film on which fine patterns are formed. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention can improve the moiré phenomenon occurring due to overlapping lines between the top and bottom metal electrodes on the transparent substrate during the image projection process and can improve the visibility by minimizing overlapping lines between the metal electrode formed on the transparent substrate and the pixel grid or the black matrix formed on the color filter.

There is provided an apparatus for cleaning an inkjet print head and an inkjet printer having the same. The apparatus for cleaning the inkjet print head includes a cleaning plate spaced apart from the inkjet print head with a cleaning area interposed therebetween, the inkjet print head ejecting ink through a nozzle; an electrode part allowing residual ink remaining at an end portion of the nozzle to be moved outwardly of the cleaning plate; and a power supply part electrically connecting the inkjet print head to the electrode part.
Abstract:
There is provided an inkjet print head including: a reservoir storing a first ink drawn in through an ink inlet; a pressure chamber storing the first ink drawn in from the reservoir and transferring the first ink to a nozzle by a driving force of an actuator; and a damper disposed between the pressure chamber and the nozzle and allowing the first ink to be mixed with a second ink drawn through an ink flow path for the second ink.
Abstract:
