摘要： A microwave oven includes a magnetron to generate microwaves and a cooking chamber to contain food to be cooked using the generated microwaves. The microwave oven further includes a humidity detector to detect moisture formed from the food being cooked. The humidity detector is provided at air outlets of the cooking chamber, and includes first and second electrodes formed on a board to be space apart from each other at a predetermined interval to form a gap therebetween. The control unit of the microwave oven controls the cooking operation of the microwave oven according to the output of the humidity detector.

摘要： An induction heating cooker includes a plurality of heating coils to heat a container, an inverter having a plurality of switching elements to be operated such that a high-frequency voltage is selectively supplied to the plurality of heating coils, and a control unit to control the operations of the plurality of switching elements such that the high-frequency voltage is time-divisionally supplied to a heating coil, on which the container is positioned, among the plurality of heating coils. By this configuration, it is possible to reduce the number of inverters and manufacturing costs. In addition, since the thickness of the cooker is reduced, it is possible to reduce the overall size of the cooker.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a control method of an induction heating cooker including detecting at least one heating coil occupied by a first container from among a plurality of heating coils, switching a plurality of inverter units so that a power level input by a user is applied to the detected at least one heating coil, determining, if the at least one heating coil occupied by the first container includes plural heating coils, whether or not output currents within a target output current range corresponding to the power level are present from among the output currents of the respective heating coils sensed by sensing units, and equally adjusting duty ratios of pulse width modulation signals applied to the inverter units of the respective heating coils until at least one of the output currents reaches the target output current range, if no output current within the target output current range is present.

The steam generator includes a steam container to store water and having at least one steam ejection hole formed at an upper location thereof, a heater adapted to heat the water stored in the steam container so as to generate steam, and a barrier unit provided below the steam ejection hole and adapted to prevent the air bubbles from entering the steam ejection hole. The barrier unit includes a base plate having a plurality of steam passage holes and a web plate coming into close contact with an inner wall surface of the steam container.

The coating composition provides favorable thermal resistance, acid resistance and mechanical properties, such that a cooking device and/or receptacle coated with the coating composition may be easily cleaned at a relatively low temperature.
