    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided which is capable of performing an adjustment to appropriate back pressure in both a low-speed operation condition and an operation condition low in suction pressure by improving the position or dimension of a back pressure hole. The scroll compressor includes a back pressure chamber 29 formed on the back surface of a mirror plate 31 of a movable scroll 22, and back pressure holes 51 and 52 formed in the mirror plate of the movable scroll and providing communication between the back pressure chamber and the compression chamber 34. After the back pressure hole 52 is opened inside a lap 32 of the movable scroll in a first crank angle range, the back pressure hole 52 is temporarily closed by a lap 24 of a fixed scroll 21 and then opened inside the lap of the fixed scroll in a second crank angle range.

    Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which effectively suppresses the occurrence of localized contact caused by deformation of a fixed scroll or a movable scroll due to the influence of a compressive reaction force or thermal expansion and shortens a break-in time. [Solution] Laps 24 and 32 of a fixed scroll 21 and a movable scroll 22 are constituted to have a plurality of step portions between a winding end portion at an outermost periphery and a winding start portion at an innermost periphery and decrease stepwise in height toward the winding start portion from the winding end portion. The position and height of each step portion are set so that when the spiral laps 24 and 32 are expanded on a predetermined plane, a base point of each step portion is placed on a predetermined arc drawn on the plane.

    Abstract: There is provided an electric compressor in which the connection strength between an inverter circuit section and an electrical circuit section connected thereto by a connection terminal is improved. An inverter circuit section (3) includes an inverter control board (17) and a resin-molded sleeve assembly (18). In the sleeve assembly, a sleeve (32) and a terminal connection portion (23) are integrally resin-molded in a state in which a screw groove portion is protruded. The inverter control board (17) and a filter side connection terminal (71) of a filter circuit section (4) are fastened together to the terminal connection portion with a nut (92) screwed into the screw groove portion, whereby the inverter control board 17 and the filter circuit section 4 are electrically connected.

    Abstract: Provided is an interlock device for a high voltage apparatus which enables not only the diagnosis of the connected or non-connected state of a connector during normal operation of the interlock device, but also the detection of a failure of the interlock device itself, including a failure of the interlock loop. The device includes an interlock loop 16 annexed to an HV connector 7 for connecting an electric compressor to an HV battery 8, a detecting signal output unit, a first switching element, a controlling voltage switching circuit operable, in a closed state of the interlock loop, to switch a voltage applied to a control electrode of the first switching element according to an output of the detecting signal output unit, a second switching element operable, in an open state of the interlock loop, to apply to the control electrode of the first switching element an output of the controlling voltage switching circuit so as to cause an ON/OFF state of the first switching element to be inverted from when the interlock loop is in the closed state, and a failure diagnosis unit.

    Abstract: [Problem] An inverter device is provided which is capable of more quickly raising an internal temperature of an electrolytic capacitor within a permissible range of a ripple voltage to shorten a non-operating time. [Solution] The inverter device includes an electrolytic capacitor 1, an inverter circuit 2, a temperature sensor 4, and a control device 3. When the ambient temperature of the electrolytic capacitor 1 detected by the temperature sensor 4 is lower than a predetermined temperature, the control device 3 on-drives specific switching elements of the inverter circuit 2 before the start of a normal operation of a motor 5, and executes a warming up operation of allowing a current capable of controlling a ripple voltage of a DC voltage within a permissible range to flow through the motor 5 at a predetermined rate of increase while keeping the motor 5 stopped.

    Abstract: Provided is a variable displacement compressor capable of preventing intrusion of foreign matter into a second control valve. A variable displacement compressor 100 is equipped with a first control valve 300 controlling the opening degree of a supply passage 145, a check valve 350, a second control valve 400 controlling the opening degree of a discharge passage 146, and a back-pressure relief passage 147. The second control valve 400 has a back-pressure chamber 410 communicating with an intermediate supply passage 145b1, a valve chamber 420 in which a valve hole 103d and a discharge hole 431a are open and which constitutes a part of the discharge passage 146, a dividing member 430 dividing the back-pressure chamber 410 and the valve chamber 420 from each other, and a spool 440. In a state in which the first control valve 300 closes the supply passage 145 and in which a valve seat side end surface 442a of a valve portion 442 of the spool 440 is spaced away from a valve seat 103f to a maximum degree, an end wall side end surface 442b of the valve portion 442 abuts an end wall 432 of the dividing member 430, whereby communication between the valve chamber 420 and the back-pressure chamber 410 via a through-hole 432a of the end wall 432 is cut off.

    Abstract: Provided is a motor control device having a function for determining a rotor position of a synchronous motor, without use of a sensor, the device prevents obtaining an erroneous rotor position, to enable stable control of the synchronous motor based on the rotor position in both the normal-control region and the flux-weakening-control region. The motor control device 1 includes: a first rotor position determining unit 19 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on an induced voltage electrical angle, and a first induced voltage phase obtained from a current peak value and a difference between the induced voltage electrical angle and a current electrical angle; a second rotor position determining unit 20 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on an induced voltage electrical angle, and a second induced voltage phase obtained from a flux linkage and a current peak value; and a selecting unit 21 that selects the first rotor position determining unit 19 or the second rotor position determining unit 20, based on a current peak value, and a first induced voltage phase or a second induced voltage phase.

    Abstract: A variable displacement compressor capable of preventing delay in pressure release of a controlled pressure chamber, such as a crank chamber. A switching valve (350) disposed downstream of a control valve of a pressure supply passage includes a main valve body (352) and a sub valve body (400). The main valve body (352) includes an internal passage (352d) providing communication between a first valve hole (104e1) communicating with a pressure supply passage (145a) between the control valve and the switching valve (350), and a second valve hole (151a) communicating with a pressure supply passage (145b) between the switching valve (350) and the crank chamber. The main valve body (352) provides communication between the second valve hole (151a) and a pressure release hole (351a1) communicating with the suction chamber, when pressure Pm in the pressure supply passage (145a) is lower than pressure Pc in the crank chamber. The sub valve body (400) closes the internal passage (352d) of the main valve body (352), when pressure Pm is lower than pressure Pc. The sub valve body (400) is lighter than the main valve body (352), and thus, when pressure Pm decreases, the sub valve body (400) actuates before the main valve body (352), to close the internal passage (352d) of the main valve body (352).
