    摘要: A protective boot having a bellows portion, a cylindrical portion, a guide-bore-side mounting portion, a thick-walled portion, a thin-walled portion, a pin-side mounting portion and an air passage groove. In an operation for mounting of the protective boot, the pin-side mounting portion is inclined radially inward through the thin-walled portion while being slidably moved along the sliding pin, to thereby effect an escape of air contained in an annular space between the sliding pin and the boot through the air passage groove. The thick-walled portion prevents the pin-side mounting portion from bending radially inward to an undesirable extent. Thus, the operation for mounting of the protective boot can be smoothly conducted.

    摘要: In the disk brake of the present invention, each arm of the carrier has a projecting pad guide, and each friction pad has recesses fitted onto the pad guides of the carrier. Each pad spring has integrally formed therewith a generally U-shaped guide plate which is bent along the pad guide and resiliently engaged with and presses against the pad guide to thereby mount the pad spring on the arm of the carrier. Each recess of the friction pads includes a groove at a position corresponding to at least one bent portion of the guide plate, which is separated from a corner portion of the pad guide and deformed into a projection toward the recess.

    摘要: In a boat attachment structure, an inner circumferential groove is formed at an open end of a cylinder bore of a caliper. A deep bottom section and a shallow bottom section are provided on the bottom of the inner circumferential groove, and therefore a step is formed between them. A dust boot having of a cylindrical elastic body with a thickened engagement section on the peripheral surface is inserted in the cylinder bore, and the engagement section is fit in the inner circumferential groove. Since each of chips produced during machining of the groove is parted by the step, chips will not remain in the inner circumferential groove.

    摘要: A multi-blade fan having a fan assembly including a bottom plate and a plurality of circumferentially spaced blades and a casing for the fan assembly therein having an outlet duct extending therefrom for discharge of the air flows. The fan assembly includes an annular shroud connected to the axial ends of the blades remote from the bottom plate. The casing includes a bottom wall for rotatably connecting the fan assembly, a top wall for defining an air inlet for axially introducing the air into the casing, and a tubular wall connecting the bottom and top walls. The top wall of the casing adjacent to the inlet opening forms an annular projection having a bell cross sectional shape opened inwardly so that an axial end of the shroud extends thereto. The bell cross section portion radially extends to a portion that is inclined downwardly in the outward direction, which faces the shroud so that a small gap extending radially is created. The top wall or bottom wall of the casing at its radially outer portion can be downwardly inclined. The tubular wall of the casing can also be inclined so that the bottom end of the tubular wall is spared radially outward from its center.

    摘要: An air conditioning system includes an air-conditioner casing, an air blower, a cooling heat exchanger, a heating heat exchanger, and a bypass passage. An electric motor of the blower has a rotating shaft that extends along a rotating shaft axis. An impeller of the blower suctions air from one side of the impeller along the rotating shaft axis to blow air in a radial direction of the impeller. The bypass passage causes cold air to bypass the heating heat exchanger. The air blower is located downstream of the cooling heat exchanger and the heating heat exchanger in a flow direction of air. The cooling heat exchanger and the heating heat exchanger are arranged in parallel with each other. The air blower is positioned on an imaginary extension of the heating heat exchanger. The rotating shaft is disposed in parallel with the heating heat exchanger.

    摘要: An air-cooled V-shaped engine comprises a throttle body (10) and a flow-dividing plate (9) arranged ahead of a central cooling-air passage (8). The flow-dividing plate (9) is provided in a fan case (5) at a position forwardly of the throttle body (10) and has a bottom-plate portion (14) disposed at a position lower than the throttle body (10). The flow-dividing plate (9) divides the cooling air generated by an air-blowing fan (7) toward left and right sides of the central cooling-air passage (8). In this air-cooled V-shaped engine, the fan case (5) has a ceiling wall a central portion (11) of which is positioned just above the bottom-plate portion (14) of the flow-dividing plate (9). The central portion (11) of the ceiling wall of the flow-dividing plate (9) is provided at a position higher than the throttle body (10) as well as the central side portions (12), (12) of the ceiling wall, led out of the central portion (11) in a left and right directions.
