Abstract:
An electronic device displays, on a display, a user interface. While displaying the user interface, the device detects an input on the touch-sensitive surface; and, in response to detecting the input while displaying the first user interface, and while detecting the input, in accordance with a determination that the input satisfies an activation intensity threshold, performs a first operation. The activation intensity threshold includes a first intensity threshold component that decreases from a first intensity value over time.
Abstract:
At an electronic device with a display, a microphone, and an input device: while the display is on, receiving user input via the input device, the user input meeting a predetermined condition; in accordance with receiving the user input meeting the predetermined condition, sampling audio input received via the microphone; determining whether the audio input comprises a spoken trigger; and in accordance with a determination that audio input comprises the spoken trigger, triggering a virtual assistant session.
Abstract:
A computer system detects an input to invoke a home menu user interface. In response to detecting the input, the computer system displays, via one or more display generation components, the home menu user interface in a three-dimensional environment, including: if a viewpoint of a user in the three-dimensional environment had a first elevation relative to a reference plane in the three-dimensional environment, displaying the home menu user interface at a first height in the three-dimensional environment; and, if the viewpoint of the user in the three-dimensional environment had a second elevation relative to the reference plane in the three-dimensional environment, the second elevation being different from the first elevation, displaying the home menu user interface at a second height in the three-dimensional environment, the second height being different from the first height.
Abstract:
A computer system with a display and a touch-sensitive surface receives a request to display a first user interface that includes a first item, and, in response to the request, displays the first user interface with a representation of the first item. Depending on whether the first item corresponds to a respective virtual three-dimensional object, the first item is displayed either with a visual indication to indicate that the first item corresponds to a first respective virtual three-dimensional object or without the visual indication. In response to a request to display a second user interface, the second user interface is displayed with a representation of the second item. Depending on whether the second item corresponds to a respective virtual three-dimensional object, the representation of the second item is displayed with or without the visual indication.
Abstract:
Avatars may be displayed in a multiuser communication session using various spatial modes. One technique for presenting avatars includes presenting avatars such that an attention direction of the avatar is retargeted to match the intent of the remote user corresponding to the avatar. Another technique for presenting avatars includes a pinned mode in which a spatial relationship between one or more avatars remains displayed in a consistent spatial relationship to a local user regardless of movements of the local user. Another technique for presenting avatars includes providing user-selectable presentation modes between a room scale mode and a stationary mode for presenting a representation of a multiuser communication session.
Abstract:
Systems and processes for manipulating a graphical user interface are disclosed. One process can include receiving user input through a crown to rotate a virtual object. The process includes selecting a surface of the object from among the multiple surfaces of the object in response to determining that the crown rotation exceeded a speed threshold.

Abstract:
A technique for electronic message user interfaces. In particular, the technique displays, on a display, an electronic message user interface and receives user input from a touch-sensitive surface, a rotatable input mechanism, and/or peripherals such as a microphone to access, compose, and manipulate electronic messages.
Abstract:
A device with a display receives a first communication at the device while the device is in a locked state. In response to receiving the first communication at the device while the device is in the locked state, the device generates, for display in a respective user interface, a first notification for the first communication received at the device, wherein the first notification includes content in the first communication. While displaying the first notification in the respective user interface, the device receives information that indicates a sender of the first communication is preparing another communication. In response to receiving the information that indicates the sender of the first communication is preparing another communication, the device updates the displayed first notification in the respective user interface to concurrently display content in the first communication and a communication-preparation indicator that indicates preparation of another communication by the sender of the first communication.
Abstract:
Techniques for displaying widgets are described. In some examples, while displaying a first plurality of application icons, an electronic device detects a first user input. In response to detecting the first user input, in accordance with a determination that the first user input includes movement in a first direction, the electronic device ceases display of the first plurality of application icons, and displays a second plurality of application icons. In response to detecting the first user input, in accordance with a determination that the first user input includes movement in a second direction, the electronic device modifies display of the first plurality of application icons to change a distance between a first application icon and a second application icon of the first plurality of application icons, and concurrently displays the modified first plurality of application icons and the first set of one or more user interface elements.
