Abstract: In CE4, a communication terminal transmits data including a latency_off value “1”. After receiving the data, an environment information measuring apparatus transmits data since a latency counter value is “0”. The latency counter value becomes “2” and a latency_off counter value becomes “1”. In CE5, the communication terminal transmits data including a latency_off value “0”. Since each of the latency counter value and the latency_off counter value is not “0”, the environment information measuring apparatus does not receive the data from the communication terminal. The latency counter value becomes “1” and the latency_off counter value becomes “0”. In CE6, since the latency_off counter value is “0”, the environment information measuring apparatus receives the data from the communication terminal.

Abstract: A peripheral transmits an advertisement including an order of connection priority of when a central is connected to the own apparatus. The central receives the advertisement. The central acquires the order of connection priority included in the received advertisement. The central controls transmission of a connection request signal to the peripheral based on the acquired order of connection priority. In response to the transmitted advertisement, the peripheral receives a connection request signal transmitted from the central. According to the connection request signal, the peripheral establishes connection with the central.

Abstract: A display device includes a biometric information value acquiring portion, a comparing portion, and a subject state determining portion. The biometric information value acquiring portion subsequently acquires a subject's biometric information value. The comparing portion compares a first biometric information value that is subsequently acquired by the biometric information value acquiring portion with a second biometric information value which is different from the first biometric information value that is subsequently acquired by the biometric information value acquiring portion. The subject state determining portion determines that the user could get a certain improvement owing to the treatment on the user on the basis of a comparison result by the comparing portion.

Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus includes (i) a wireless communicator capable of broadcasting an extended advertising packet having a large transmittable capacity and a compatible advertising packet having a transmittable capacity smaller than the extended advertising packet, and (ii) a processor. The wireless communicator periodically broadcasts the extended advertising packet based on a command from the processor. The processor sets offset information for acquiring of a time at which the extended advertising packet is receivable in an offset notification packet that is the compatible advertising packet, and broadcasts the offset notification packet via the wireless communicator. The offset information is set based on a transmission timing of the offset notification packet and a transmission timing of the extended advertising packet.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image analysis unit, a biometric information measurement unit, and a determination selection unit. The image analysis unit detects a plurality of part images of a subject from the image including the subject captured by the imaging unit. The biometric information measurement unit obtains biometric information from at least one of the plurality of part images of the subject detected by the image analysis unit.
The determination selection unit determines the detectability of biometric information on each of the plurality of part images of the subject detected by the image analysis unit.
