摘要: Exemplary embodiments may involve a meta-data server that manages data-server access control list (DS ACL) information. Each entry of this DS ACL information may include an address of a data server, an identification or a range address of chunk data on the data server, a file path of the chunk data in the file tree provided by the meta-data server, and addresses of the permitted clients. The meta-data server may determine the addresses of the permitted clients for the chunk data by retrieving the original file path of chunk data from layout information of the meta-data server, and by retrieving the entry containing the directory path that partially matches with the original file path from an access control list of the meta-data server.

摘要: An information system comprises: a storage system including a processor, a memory, and a plurality of virtual volumes to be allocated pages from a storage pool of volumes; and a metadata server which, upon receiving from a client a write request containing file data to be written to a virtual volume in the storage system, returns the write request to the client with parallel information which is added to a data layout of the file data to be written in the virtual volume. The storage system, upon receiving the write request with the parallel information, allocates, based on the parallel information, pages from the storage pool to the virtual volume for writing the file data, so that the data layout is striped and the allocated pages fit striped data access according to the striped data layout.

摘要: A semiconductor device according to the present invention is a semiconductor device that includes: a semiconductor substrate having metal wiring formed on a bottom surface of the semiconductor substrate; and a plurality of wiring layers formed above the semiconductor substrate. The wiring layers include a first wiring layer and a second wiring layer that is formed above the first wiring layer. The semiconductor device further includes: a first through electrode which electrically connects the first wiring layer and the metal wiring; a second through electrode which electrically connects the second wiring layer and the metal wiring; and at least one layer difference adjustment film formed between the semiconductor substrate and the wiring layers. The at least one layer difference adjustment film includes a layer difference adjustment film formed on a region excluding a region corresponding to the second through electrode.

摘要: The present teaching is intended to observe the delivery date of a product and decrease the number of workpieces in a merger process. A treatment sequence calculator included in manufacturing instruction equipment identifies an in-process part being worked in each process, and calculates the delivery-date allowance of the in-process part. In-process parts whose delivery-date allowances fall below a predetermined threshold are inputted to each process in ascending order of delivery-date allowances. In-process parts whose delivery-date allowances are equal to or larger than the predetermined threshold are inputted to each process in ascending order by a minimum value of remaining treatment times which the in-process parts take to reach the merger process.

摘要: A storage system including: a disk device including an original volume and a plurality of snapshot generations; and a storage control unit which includes a processor unit. The processor unit receives write data to a storage area of the original volume, and determines whether data stored in the storage area of the original volume is already copied to the snapshot volume or not; if the data stored in the storage area of original volume is not already copied to snapshot volume, the processor unit copies the data from original volume to the snapshot volume, when a use capacity of the snapshot volume is larger than threshold amount by the copy, the processor unit indicates a specified snapshot generation, the processor unit migrates data of the specified snapshot generation from the snapshot volume to tape device; the processor unit deletes information of the specified snapshot generation in the snapshot volume.
