    摘要: A system for dispensing a customised nutritional serving is made up of ingredients stored within a device incorporating the system. The device has a controller in whose memory is stored an inventory of the ingredients available in the device, their compositions and properties and customer profile data. The controller is programmed to formulate a serving which best matches the customised serving selected by the customer within constraints set by the programming taking into account the inventory of ingredients and the health profile of the customer. The customer is then presented with the selected serving and either accepts it or modifies it. The device is then programmed to prepare and dispense the final selection.

    摘要: An interface device and method for interfacing instruments to a medical procedure simulation system serve to interface peripherals in the form of mock medical instruments to the medical procedure simulation system computer to enable simulation of medical procedures. The interface device includes a housing having a mock bodily region of interest to facilitate insertion of a mock instrument, such as an endoscope tube, into the interface device. The mock bodily region of interest may be pivotable to simulate various patient orientations. The instrument is engaged by a capture mechanism in order to measure rotational and translational motion of the instrument. An actuator is disposed within the interface device to provide force feedback to the instrument. The measured motion is provided to the computer system to reflect instrument motion on the display during the simulation. Alternatively, the interface device may be configured to accommodate instrument assemblies having a plurality of nested instruments (e.g., sheath, catheter and wire), whereby the interface device individually grasps, measures manipulation of and provides force feedback to the nested instruments. In addition, the interface device may be configured to simultaneously accommodate a plurality of independently inserted instruments.

The work string includes a first tool having a first ball seat configured to activate when a first activation pressure is applied to a plug seated at the first ball seat, and a second tool having a second ball seat configured to activate when a second activation pressure is applied to the plug when seated at the second ball seat, wherein the first activation pressure is different than the second activation pressure.     摘要: A bed extender having tubular first and second elongated arm connected together by a bed cross-member. The elongated arms and bed cross-member include tabs or other features for mounting to the bed of a vehicle. The bed extender also includes a rear slide assembly having elongated first and second slide members that slide in the first and second elongated arm. A vertical support extends upward from the ends of the slide members. The bed extender further includes a lock mechanism for locking the rear slide assembly into place in the first and second elongated arms. The vertical support structure includes first and second corner braces attached to the slide members. Up-tubes extend vertically from the corner braces, and a support arm extends across the up-tubes. A lower cross-member connect the first and second corner braces. The bed extender further includes an attachment feature for attaching ropes or similar devices to retain cargo in place.
