摘要： A method is provided for providing speaker management. The method may include initializing an information handling system (IHS) and initializing an external speaker coupled to the IHS. The external speaker may have a device identifier (ID) associated with it. Therefore, the method may also include receiving the device ID and automatically loading an audio driver corresponding to the device ID. Using speaker compensation parameters associated with the audio driver, the method may include filtering audio data sent to the external speaker.

摘要： An optical medium, such as Blu-ray Disc (BD) medium, presents audiovisual information in a user selected Karaoke mode by mixing first and second audio streams and a textual stream according to synchronization information. For instance, the first stream has instrumentation and the second stream has vocals so that the audio output from the streams may include normal play mixing both streams to have instrumentation and vocals, instrumentation-only play having only one stream presented, or instrumentation with guide vocals having the stream associated with vocals processed at a subdued volume or varied speaker location. Alternatively, the first stream has instrumentation with vocals and the second stream has inverse vocals so that mixing the streams provides subdued or no vocals. The text stream presents lyrics in a text box of a graphics plane of a display, the lyrics synchronized to the instrumentation and vocals.

摘要： An information handling system plays audio provided from a portable audio device at an information handling system audio subsystem in operating and powered down states of the information handling system. In the operating state, digital audio information is communicated from the portable audio device through a serial link for rendering at the information handling system into an analog audio signal presented by the audio subsystem. In the powered down state, digital audio information is rendered at the portable audio device and communicated as an analog audio signal through the serial link to the information handling system. A system module at the information handling system selectively switches the serial link to interface with the audio subsystem and play the analog signal as audible sounds. The system module supplies power to the audio subsystem to support playing the analog signal with the information handling system in the powered down state.

The virtualization manager initializes the client hosted virtualization system authenticates a virtual machine image, launches a portion of the virtual machine that initiates an authentication session with the authentication device, receives an authentication object from the authentication device, sends the authentication object to the portion of the virtual machine, and launches another portion of the virtual machine. The client hosted virtualization system is configurable to execute the BIOS or the virtualization manager.
