摘要: Scanning engine (i.e. program(s) or application(s)) 310 sends request 315 to direct file system access engine (i.e. program(s) or application(s)) 360. Direct file system access engine 360 receives request 315 and passes request 315 to file system(s) 350 as request 325. No filter program(s) 340 receive program control as request 325 bypasses any filter program(s) 340. The direct file system access engine 360 receives unaltered information from file system(s) 350. Utilising Direct File Access (DFA) allows bypass of user mode hooking-type malwares, kernel, and file system filter programs to obtain access to or communicate with the real underlying file system(s). This provides a ‘clean’ view of the file system(s) in situations where user/kernel components are compromised or rootkit file system filter programs are installed.

摘要: Provided are a system and method for position awareness that can be used indoors in a large-scale environment and can minimize generation of radio frequency (RF) and ultrasonic waves in a wireless sensor network including low-priced sensor nodes capable of precise position measurement, thus improving energy efficiency by reducing unnecessary power consumption. The method includes the steps of: (a) calculating initial position coordinates using beacon information received from adjacent beacons through a broadcast beacon solicitation signal, sending a synchronization signal to the beacons, and synchronizing the beacons; (b) receiving ultrasonic waves generated from the adjacent beacons activated by a broadcast start message, and calculating position coordinates; and (c) when the calculated position coordinates correspond to a predetermined hand-off threshold position, transmitting a hand-off process message to a newly activated beacon, and executing a hand-off process routine.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a suspension apparatus and a resonance avoiding method of a drum-type washing machine. The method adjusts elastic moduli of elastic members before a drum reaches a resonance speed during a dehydration cycle of the washing machine. If the rotating speed of the drum exceeds the resonance speed, the method returns the elastic moduli of the elastic members to an initial state, thereby preventing generation of resonance.

摘要: In one embodiment, decoding of a video sigal includes predicting at least a portion of a current image in a current layer based on at least a portion of a base image in a base layer and offset information. The offset information indicates an offset based on at least one pixel in the current image and a corresponding at least one pixel in the base image. For example, the offset information may represent a position offset between at least one sample in the current image and at least one sample in an up-sampled portion of the base image.

摘要: An array of grooves (23) is formed in a first side (12) of a wafer (10) during a wafer processing method. A back grinding tape (16) is adhered to the first side. An amount of material is removed from the second side (20) of the wafer. An adhesive layer (30) is applied to the second side. Dicing tape (24) is applied to the adhesive layer to create a first wafer assembly (32). The first wafer assembly is supported on a support surface (34) with the dicing tape facing the support surface and the back grinding tape exposed. The back grinding tape is removed and the adhesive layer is severed through the array of grooves to create individually removable die (28).
