    摘要: A high-frequency coil of the type of slot resonator in which outer conductors that have wing portions at both ends thereof and that are divided, are formed on the cylindrical surface, and ring-like inner conductors are formed on the inside of the wing portions. The wing portions have a width different from the width of the inner conductors. The self resonance frequency of the coil is adjusted by adjusting the width which is smaller than the other width. Further, the neighboring tips of the wing portions are opposed to each other via an air gap. The self resonance frequency is also adjusted depending upon the position of the dielectric plate inserted in the gap.

    摘要: An NMR imaging method for measuring a magnetization distribution of an article under test, particularly the magnetization distribution including a longitudinal relaxation effect, by a Fourier imaging method with identification of polarity of the magnetization distribution.A homogeneous phantom is measured by the Fourier imaging method and image-reconstructed so that a reference image data which reflects a phase rotation inherent to an NMR imaging apparatus is obtained. Then, a magnetization distribution of an article under test is obtained in a similar measurement and image reconstruction sequence, and products of the reference image data and the image data of the article under test are stored as the signs to represent the polarity of magnetization of the article under test.

    摘要: A method for immunochemical determination of a hapten in a sample is disclosed, in which(A) a high-molecular compound to which the hapten is bound (reagent A),(B) insoluble carrier particles carrying thereon an antibody to the hapten (reagent B), and(C) magnetic substance-containing insoluble carrier particles carrying thereon an antibody to an antigenic determinant in the high-molecular compound and different from the hapten (reagent C),are used. These three reagents are dispersed in the sample, then, a magnetic field is applied to separate from the reaction mixture unreacted reagent (C) and agglutinated particles formed from the reagent (B) and the reagent (C) through the reagent (A). The amount of the reagent (B) remaining dispersed in the reaction mixture is measured, thereby determining the extent of competitive inhibition to the agglutination of the reagent (B) and the reagent (C) through the reagent (A) by the reaction between the hapten in the sample and the reagent (B). The method of the present invention requires no troublesome operations such as separation-washing and is free from any problem is safety. By the method of the present invention, the concentration of a hapten in a sample is determined by simple operations in a short time and with high sensitivity.

    摘要: A signal separation system is used to discriminate cytoplasm of white blood cells from a sample of white blood. The signal separation system includes a light source generating light passed through a blood sample, a light separator for separating green and blue light beams from the light passed through the sample, first and second photoelectric converters for changing the green and the blue light beams to first and second electric signals, a signal treatment circuit which converts the first and the second electric signals to binary signals with respect to certain threshold levels and then forms a separation signal from the binary signals, and the gate circuit which separates the signal component of the white blood cells from the sample with the function of the separation signal.
