摘要： Systems and methods are described for automatically processing mortgage insurance claims. In one described system, a central server computer receives inputs from, and provides outputs to, a servicer terminal connected into a network. The servicer terminal captures data from a servicer submitting a mortgage insurance claim. A claims database is connected into the network, containing data relating to the mortgage insurance claim. A claim audit rulebase is connected into the network, for automatically performing an audit and adjustment of the submitted mortgage insurance claim. The system automatically provides results of the audit and adjustment to the servicer at the servicer terminal, and presents the servicer with an option to interact with a claim representative to resolve any issues.

The apparatus may also include an ejection arm (5C) for ejecting the article (1) to a raised position upon movement of said one engagement member (8D) to the second position.

摘要： A security device for attachment to a container having external walls such that a transponder thereon is located externally of or adjacent to one of said external walls so as to avoid being shielded by a metal layer within the container (e.g. the metal layer within a disk such as a CD or DVD). The security device is arranged to trigger an alarm signal if the container is moved within the range of an alarm unit with the security device attached thereto, and has a releasable locking mechanism to secure it to the container such that release of the locking mechanism requires the use of authorized release means. In one embodiments the transponder is located in the vicinity of a window in a metal layer, e.g. at the centre of the disk.

Sets of objects can be grouped into themes to provide a user with a distinct overall impression of the interface. These themes can be switched dynamically by switching pointers to drawing procedures or switching data being supplied to these procedures. To buffer applications from the switchable nature of graphical user interfaces according to the present invention, colors and patterns used to implement the interface objects are abstracted from the interface by, for example, pattern look-up tables.
