Two parameters, the rpm (preferably via the rpm-dependent suction chamber pressure) and the position of the quantity-adjusting device, are obtained from the fuel injection pump and delivered to a performance-graph memory in which a control value for the recirculated exhaust gas quantity is stored in accordance with these parameters. This cap also provides an axial force which clamps internal elements of the valve mechanism into firm and sealing contact. This insert deforms under the force of the threaded cap and provides an elastic force reservoir which maintains the clamping and sealing force even when the cap is slightly loosened.

    摘要: An adjustable hydraulically operated stop for pulsed loading is proposed, which is particularly applicable for the metering piston of a fuel injection system. The stroke of this metering piston can be varied by adjusting a stop body by means of a metering converter. The supply chamber communicating with a fuel source or with the pump work chamber of one of the pump/nozzles of the fuel injection system, whose size is dependent on the stroke of the metering piston, determines the injected fuel quantity. The adjustable hydraulically operated stop encompasses a mechanical stop body, which is movably supported with respect to its adjusting member embodied by a sheath and communicates therewith via fluid, which also surrounds the adjusting member. The adjusting forces for the adjusting member are kept small, and the holding forces required to prevent a change in the position assumed by the adjusting member are kept equal to zero, because pressure fluctuations affecting the fluid are cancelled out with respect to the adjusting member. To this end, the adjusting member is received in its entirety within a fluid-filled chamber. A spring acting upon the stop body assures the constant renewal of the hydraulic cushion in the case of pulsed operation.

    摘要: A shutoff apparatus for distributor injection pumps in internal combustion engines is proposed. The apparatus may also be used as a means of overspeed protection, and under the effect of an electromagnetic pushing magnet it opens the high-pressure chamber of the injection pump in order to shut off the engine. The opening of the high-pressure chamber is effected without the use of a valve subjected to the injection pressure, by means of the axial displacement of a pressure-equalized annular cylinder, which causes a relief bore to come into coincidence with the high-pressure chamber. The displacement of the annular cylinder is effected under the pressing action of an electromagnet. The area of the high-pressure chamber located opposite the distributor piston is sealed off by a slidable plug, which is pre-stressed by spring force and is centered via the annular cylinder by the distributor piston. The actuation push rod of the electromagnet acts in the direction along this slidable plug and it may in part replace this element.
