Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for performing communication by using an unlicensed spectrum, a device, and a system, which relate to the field of communications technologies, so as to improve efficiency of using an unlicensed spectrum by user equipment. The method includes: obtaining, by a base station eNB, a time resource and/or a frequency resource by contending with another eNB or another system using an unlicensed spectrum; generating, by the base station eNB, information about the time resource and/or the frequency resource according to the time resource and/or the frequency resource; and sending, by the base station eNB, the information about the time resource and/or the frequency resource to user equipment UE by using a broadcast or multicast message, so that the user equipment UE communicates with the base station eNB according to the information about the time resource and/or the frequency resource.

Abstract: Disclosed are a cell measurement method, a cell resource sharing method, and a related device. The cell measurement method includes: a user equipment receives a measurement configuration message sent by a base station, wherein the measurement configuration message comprises at least one physical cell identity and CSI-RS configuration information corresponding to a measured cell, and wherein the physical cell identity is used to indicate the measured cell; measuring the CSI-RS corresponding to the measured cell according to the CSI-RS configuration information, and obtaining a measurement result of the measuring; sending the obtained measurement result of the measured cell and measurement object information of the measured cell to the base station via a measurement report. The technical solution provided by the present disclosure can effectively improve the accuracy of the measurement result, and enable the base station to distinguish different measurement results corresponding to different cells.

Abstract: A cell discovery method, device, and system are disclosed, which relate to the radio communications field, so as to purposefully perform small-scale search and measurement, thereby improving the search efficiency and saving power. The method includes: after receiving first radio frequency information of a handover area and second radio frequency information reported by a user equipment served by a cell of a first base station, detecting, by the first base station, whether the second radio frequency information matches the first radio frequency information; if match, sending a measurement instruction message to the user equipment that reports the second radio frequency information, so as to instruct the user equipment to measure signal strength and/or signal quality of a cell at a frequency of a cell of a second base station or only of the cell of the second base station. Solutions disclosed are used for cell search and discovery.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for reporting a measurement report of a measurement event, including: determining that a measurement event is generated in a user equipment (UE) in an activated state of discontinuous reception (DRX) mode; judging whether a first time to trigger corresponding to the measurement event is valid when it is determined that there is a measurement event generated; using, when it is judged that the first time to trigger is valid, the first time to trigger to time the measurement event; using, when it is judged that the first time to trigger is invalid, a second time to trigger to time the measurement event, such that the UE is in next one or next several activated states of DRX mode after the generation of the measurement event. The present disclosure can improve a success rate of mobility handover between cells or wireless link quality.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell discovery method and apparatus, where the method includes: determining, by a second network node, modified timing of the second network node according to acquired timing modification information; receiving, by the second network node, uplink resource information of user equipment sent by a first network node; performing, by the second network node, detection on an uplink signal of the user equipment by using the modified timing and according to the uplink resource information; and when detecting proximity of the user equipment, sending, by the second network node, proximity information to the first network node. The cell discovery method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention prevent from triggering UE to perform unnecessary cell measurement or handover, thereby reducing network signaling load and lowering power consumption of the UE.
