Abstract:
A crash box for a vehicle may include a front connection portion that is connected to both ends of a back beam of the vehicle, a rear connection portion that is connected to a side member of the vehicle, an intermediate connection portion for connecting the front connection portion and the rear connection portion, which is formed as a hollow box shape and through which a cut cross-section of a heptangular shape is formed in a vehicle width direction, and a plurality of reinforcement ribs formed at an inner space of the intermediate connection portion.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a bumper back beam for vehicles is provided. The method includes shaping a planar strip using a pressing process and a planar surface component are formed within a central portion of the strip in a longitudinal direction thereof, and recessed components are formed on opposite sides of the planar surface part, and a first flange is formed on an exterior edge of each recessed component. Further, each of the recessed components are bent vertically around a bending boundary line formed between the planar surface component and the corresponding recessed component and the opposite first flanges contact the planar surface component. Additionally, the edges of the opposite first flanges are welded to the planar surface component and the back beam has a pair of closed section components defined by the planar surface component and the recessed components.
Abstract:
A bumper stiffener apparatus for a vehicle may include an upper member connected to a radiator grill, a lower member connected to a bumper below the upper member, a support bar connecting the upper member and the lower member, a hinge mechanism connected to the support bar, and a guide bracket fixed to a back beam arranged on a rear of the lower member to be connected to the hinge mechanism and in which a guide passage is formed for guiding an upward movement of the hinge mechanism when the lower member moves rearward.
Abstract:
A bicycle carrier apparatus for a vehicle may include guide rails disposed at a lower portion of a bumper back beam while being symmetrical to each other and extendely formed in front and rear directions, a carrier part provided with a panel part and side portions extending from both sides of the panel part to the guide rails to slidably move along the guide rails, a first driving part installed at a front end portion of the carrier part and connected to the guide rails to move the carrier part in the front and rear directions along the guide rails, an expansion support part installed between the side portions of the carrier part to be expandably deployed laterally and support a loaded bicycle, and a second driving part installed at the carrier part to be connected to the expansion support part and expandably deploy the expansion support part.
Abstract:
A running board assembly may include a motor which supplies power, a transmission which transmits the motor's power, a rack gear which is disposed lengthily in a transverse direction of a vehicle body such that one side thereof is connected to a body of a running board, and a motion control unit which transmits the power from the transmission to the rack gear such that a motion of the rack gear is controlled to allow a sliding motion and a pivot motion of the rack gear.
Abstract:
An intelligent side step apparatus for a vehicle includes a step panel (13) that protrudes and expands to a side of a vehicle body (16) when a getting-off mode signal of a passenger is generated. The step panel (13) moves down to a side of the vehicle body when a getting-on mode signal of a passenger is generated. A step lamp (14) mounted on the step panel (13) is turned on when a night mode signal is generated.
Abstract:
An operating apparatus and operating control method of a side step of a vehicle controls the opening operation of the side step by being operated in conjunction with an operation of a vehicle door and by detecting whether an obstacle is present or not in an opening operation space of a side step of left front, left rear, right front and right rear side steps (11, 12, 13 and 14), opens the side step when it is determined that no obstacle is present in the opening operation space of the side step, and provides an alarm to a user when it is required to avoid the opening of the side step.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a drying apparatus for a vehicle using vehicle induced wind. The drying apparatus is capable of drying a wet object using vehicle induced wind generated by the driving of the vehicle. The apparatus includes a storage cover that is rotatably coupled to a rear bumper cover via a hinge module, to form a storage space between the storage cover and the rear bumper cover. In addition the apparatus includes an inlet cover that is coupled to the rear bumper cover to form an inlet passage through which the vehicle induced wind flows into the storage space when the vehicle is being driven. A plurality of outlet holes are formed in the rear bumper cover, and are configured to operate as a passage to allow air to be discharged from the storage space to an exterior of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A vehicle light includes: a light lens having a base panel made of a transparent plastic material, an outer paint layer disposed on an outer surface of the base panel, and an inner paint layer disposed on an inner surface of the base panel and including a light-transmitting hole formed therein; and a light source installed to be spaced apart from the light lens, in which light from the light source is transmitted out of the light lens through the light-transmitting hole and the base panel.
