    Abstract: A battery system may include a plurality of unit batteries each having a panel shape and stacked in series. The system may also include a plurality of heat conduction plates each having a panel shape and inserted between the unit batteries such that a first part of each respective heat conduction plate is inserted between opposing faces of corresponding unit batteries, with upper and lower faces of each respective heat conduction plate being in contact with the opposing faces of the corresponding unit batteries, and a second part of each respective heat conduction plate is exposed to an outside of the stacked unit batteries.
