摘要: In a probe disposed at the distal end of a heart catheter for the coagulation of muscle and connective tissues by subjecting them to a high frequency field, a pressure sensor is provided for measuring the axial force effective on the probe tip which pressure sensor inlcudes a plastic body with an axial bore into which a light conductor extends and which has at its end opposite the light conductor a mirror for reflecting light supplied through the light conductor back into the light conductor. The plastic body is resiliently movably supported with respect to the light conductor so that the light reflected by the mirror back into the light conductor depends on the displacement of the probe tip caused by a pressure force applied to the probe tip.

摘要: An instrument for the surgical removal of a defective heart valve. The instrument has elements that can be collapsed, in which the instrument cutting elements are collapsed when the instrument is introduced into the surgical field and are covered by means of contact protective sheaths. The instrument cutting elements are formed as cutting ring halves that can fold in around a hinge axis, these cutting ring halves being elastically deformable during the folding-in process, whereby their deformation is achieved by fish joints that also serve to aid in mutually moving the contact protective sheaths onto each of two body members.

摘要: A method for controlling a transformation process in which the conversion of charge materials to a product takes place along a transformation interface from the crystal and/or grain and/or phase and/or pore surface into the charge material, wherein one or more chemical elements in the charge materials is released and/or incorporated and/or rearranged and wherein the conversion of the charge materials takes place along advancing transformation interfaces. The charge materials are identified on the basis of at least one optical, in particular microscopic, analysis with respect to their phases and/or phase components and/or their phase morphology, structure, texture and/or their chemical composition. On the basis of these variables, reference functions for the charge materials, which describe the conversion of the charge materials in the process, are assigned and used for establishing the process parameters of the transformation process.

摘要: In a transceiver apparatus for use in a multi-frequency communication system a multi-frequency antenna terminal operation allows antenna transmission and reception-modes to be combined. A frequency conversion circuitry has a transmission path and a reception path, wherein each of these paths communicatively connects a signal processor and an antennaswitch. The antenna-switch comprises a multi switch, a transmission-multiplexer and a reception-multiplexer, wherein the antenna switch may be controlled by the signal processor and the multiplexers may be controlled by the signal generator via the multi switch. The antenna has a transmission connector for connecting the transmission path to the antenna and a reception connector for connecting the reception path to the antenna. Advantageous configurations of the transceiver provide an S-loop antenna design and phase matching units in an antenna terminal and a Butler-matrix of the antenna-switch. This provides an antenna and an antenna-switch with an optimal matching factor and consequently improves multi-frequency transceiver operation.
