Abstract:
A lock for a firearm that includes two locking elements located on either side of the trigger guard. One of the locking elements contains a plug-in unit and the other of the locking elements contains a receiver in mating contact with the plug-in unit via a meshing toothed arrangement. A handle attached to the plug-in unit rotates 90 degrees to unmate the toothed arrangement. Rotation of the handle by 90 degrees after a combination lock located in the handle is unlocked results unmating of the toothed arrangement.
Abstract:
A permutation lock, in particular for suitcases or the like, having a plurality of number disks (12) which can be turned by rotation into the combination opening position and an operating handle upon the opening displacement of which the combination set is changed. In order to obtain a simple solution which is advantageous in use, each number disk (12) has associated with it a cam (45) which turns the number disk into a given basic position other than the combination upon displacement of the operating handle (35).
Abstract:
A lock for cabinets wherein a lock component is attached to one element of the cabinet and a counter-locking component is attached to another element. The lock component includes a hook-shaped latching bolt which is slidable and swivelable to become engaged with and disengaged from the counter-locking component. The latching bolt is held in a latching position by a locking bolt part of a permutation lock, and also by a retaining mechanism in the form of a heart-shaped endless cam slot which effects a release of the latching bolt only in response to a displacement of the latter in a door-closing direction.
Abstract:
A process for producing styrene by the dehydrogenation of ethyl benzene whereby the ethyl benzene in a mixture with steam is introduced into a tubular reactor, the tubes of which are heated by molten salts. The structural parameters of this process are the tube diameter which should be 20 to 35 millimeters, the temperature of the molten salts which should be 580.degree. to 660.degree. C. and at most 20.degree. C. higher than the reaction temperature at the catalyst and the weight ratio of steam to ethyl benzene of the feed stock which should be 0.5 to 1. The process saves energy and increases efficiency by reducing the steam consumption.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a milling cutter head having a number of blade supports (11) which are inserted in recesses of a base body (10) and have blades (12), wherein each blade support can be axially displaced by a wedge and fixed in the milling cutter head by clamping elements. According to the invention, the blade supports each have a shank which is arranged in a receiving bore of the base body and can be fixed via a centrally (13) located clamping piece (18).
Abstract:
A line guide for a reel unit for winding a fishing line onto or unwinding it from a spool is provided on the housing of the reel unit and comprises a carriage guide and a carriage element with at least one line eye. The carriage guide can be functionally linked with the gear mechanism of the spool. Advantageously, the carriage guide is configured as a spindle-shaped pilot shaft and the carriage element is provided with an internally threaded guide channel for guiding on the spindle-shaped pilot shaft.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a milling cutter head having a plurality of blade holders (11) which are inserted into recesses of a parent body (10) and on which respective blades (12) are brazed in position. According to the invention, at least one blade (12) is angled and has a longer section (c), lying radially on the outside with respect to the axis of the milling cutter head, and a shorter section (b) which lies radially on the inside and is angled at 3° to 7°, preferably 5°.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new type of reel unit for a fishing line for use on a fishing rod, made up of a housing, a spool rotatably mounted on the housing that can be rotated via a gear unit by means of a hand crank for reeling in and reeling out the line, and a holder for mounting the reel unit to the fishing rod.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle door handle includes a grip area and an electronics module arranged inside the grip area. A plastic injection moulded carrier core extends inside the motor vehicle door handle. The electronics module is arranged in a recess of the carrier core. A covering layer, which is made of plastic and which forms an outer wall of the motor vehicle door handle, is injected around the carrier core and the electronics module. Preferably, the carrier core is an injection moulded part having a foam structure, produced according to a MuCell method.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism comprises a housing, a shaft extending in the housing and having a latch member thereon adjacent to one end thereof, and an actuating lever adjacent to an opposite end of a shaft. The shaft, actuating lever, and housing are interconnected in a manner that causes the shaft to move longitudinally in response to turning of the actuating lever to a predetermined extent from a rest position, so that the latch member moves from a first position to a second position, and for causing the shaft to tilt in response to continued turning of the actuating lever, so that the latch member is turned away from the second position.
