摘要： A nozzle ejects molten metal in an ejecting direction. The nozzle has a solder-philic surface in a first region and a solder-repellent surface in a second region. The second region is located forward of the first region in the ejecting direction. Before molten metal is ejected, the peripheral edge of the liquid surface of the molten metal is held at a position located further forward in the ejecting direction than the boundary between the solder-philic surface and the solder-repellent surface. The peripheral edge of the liquid surface is thus held before being ejected so that solder drops can be ejected steadily with a uniform diameter, constant direction, and constant speed.

摘要： Punch machine 30 has a plurality of punches 52, 53 and dies 54, 61 for punching a hole out of a sheet, a driving means 35 for reciprocating in a direction intersecting with respect to the punch by the driving force of driving source 33, and cam mechanisms 44, 84, 94, 62, 69 for changing the motion of the driving means into the movement direction of the punch so as to transmit to the punch between the punch and the driving means. A plurality of punches are divided into first group and second group. The cam mechanism provided between each punch of the first group and the driving means moves each punch 52 by the motion operation of the driving means in a first direction, and the cam mechanism provided between each punch of the second group and the driving means moves each punch 53 by the motion operation of the driving means in a second direction. Different pattern of punching is respectively possible by the first and second groups of punches.

摘要： A magnetic structure and a magnetic head capable of reducing the size thereof and raising the degree of integration is disclosed which has a structure including a substrate having a plurality of ridge-like projections each having slant side-surfaces; the substrate having thereon: a first conductive passage consisting of a plurality of parallel and conductive passages each of which is formed on opposing slant surfaces of adjacent projections and on the bottom surface between the slant surfaces; a first insulating layer stacked on the first conductive passage and the substrate; a magnetic core made of magnetic material enclosed in a groove-shape recess formed by the adjacent projections and the bottom surface; a second insulating layer stacked on the magnetic core; and a second conductive passage formed on the second insulating layer to sequentially connect ends of the first conductive passage to form a helical coil, wherein the magnetic core is separated by the projection so that a plurality of coils are integrally formed on the same substrate.

摘要： A sheet carrying apparatus reduces skew of a sheet during carriage, and realizes high-quality print. A position detecting sensor detects a position in a direction perpendicular to a sheet carrying direction of the sheet carried by a sheet carrying roller. A skew angle of the sheet is calculated depending upon a deviation of the detected position from a predetermined reference position. Load rollers are on the right and left sides with respect to a sheet center line in the sheet carrying direction, and are respectively opposed to following rollers through the sheet so as to bring the sheet into pressure contact. A torque limiter to apply a braking force to the load roller, and the load roller are coupled or released by electromagnetic clutches. Thereby, the carrying forces can independently be controlled on the right and left sides of the sheet depending upon the skew angle.
