摘要: .alpha.-L-Aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (.alpha.-APM) is prepared by catalytic hydrogenation of N-benzyloxycarbonyl-.alpha.-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (Z-.alpha.-APM). The catalytic hydrogenation is conducted in an aqueous suspension containing the Z-.alpha.-APM in the form of particles whose average particle size is not greater than 800 .mu.m. The starting Z-.alpha.-APM may contain up to 30 wt. % of its .beta.-isomer provided that the process additionally includes recrystallization of the .alpha.-APM, collection of the .alpha.-APM by filtration and recycling of the filtrate for use in the aqueous suspension of Z-.alpha.-APM.

摘要: The invention provides a composite resin composition comprising aliphatic polyester resin (component A) having aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid units, one or more biomass material (component B) selected from the group consisting of cellulose, lignocellulose and starch and unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof (component C), wherein the composite resin composition comprises a component obtained by covalently bonding a portion or the whole of component A and component B through component C. On processing into various formed items, the composite resin composition of the invention exhibits excellent tensile strength and other physical properties and processability and simultaneously has good biodegradability, and enable biomass materials of low added value to apply to high added value uses in a large amount.

摘要: A lactic acid polymer composition comprising formulating 100 parts by weight of a mixture consisting of 80-95% by weight of an L-lactic acid polymer having an L-lactic acid proportion of 75% or more and 5-20% by weight of a plasticizer selected from the group consisting of a polyhydric alcohol ester and a hydroxypolycarboxylic acid ester, 0.1-5 parts by weight of an anti-blocking agent having a SiO.sub.2 content of 90% or more and an average particle size of 7-50 nm, and 0.1-2 parts by weight of a slip agent; a molded product and film obtained from the composition; and a preparation process of the same are disclosed. The molded product and film are excellent in processability, transparency, flexibility, anti-blocking property and slip, and can be degraded into harmless water and carbon dioxide under natural environment, when abandoned.

摘要: An improved process is provided for the production of chlorine. In a fluidized-bed reactor having a specific equivalent diameter and made of a material with a particular iron content, hydrogen chloride and oxygen are reacted in particular gas volumes and at specific molar ratio, superficial velocity, temperature and pressure in the presence of a catalyst composed principally of a chromium oxide and having a specific particle size distribution. The catalyst is filled in a specific amount in terms of catalyst layer height at rest. The catalyst can retain its high activity.

摘要: A thermal resistant resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polyester (A) having 25-75% by weight of a lactic acid component consisting of 25-75% by weight of a lactic acid-based polymer (a1) and 25-75% by weight of other aliphatic polyester (a2) having a melting point of 100-250.degree. C., and 0.1-70 parts by weight of a crystalline inorganic filler (B) containing 10% by weight or more of SiO.sub.2. The thermal resistant resin composition of the invention performs following function:1) injection molding can be carried out at a mold temperature of Tg or less or around room temperature with a short molding-cycle,2) quick crystallization velocity and satisfactory crystallinity can be attained in the molding step, and3) the molded articles have, as a result, excellent thermal resistance and generate properties of low deterioration of a high polymer component and slow embrittlement in use.

摘要: A resin for electrophotographic toner comprising a degradable polyester resin which is an amorphous poly (.alpha.-hydroxycarboxylic acid) prepared by direct dehydration-polycondensation of an .alpha.-hydroxycarboxylic acid and having, preferably, a number-average molecular weight ranging from 2000 to 7000. A further resin for electrophotographic toner comprising a degradable polyester resin which may be prepared by reacting an amorphous or semicrystalline poly (.alpha.-hydroxycarboxylic acid), having a number-average molecular weight ranging from 1000 to 7000 or 2000 to 7000 and prepared by direct dehydration-polycondensation of an .alpha.-hydroxycarboxylic acid, with a polyol having at least three hydroxyl groups or a polycarboxylic acid having at least three carboxyl groups in the molecule and, in case of the reaction product with the polyol can further be reacted with a diisocyanate to give an urethane-modified polyester. These polyesters can likewise be used as resins for toner.
