摘要: To provide a chuck device for preventing the loosening of the fastening condition, a plurality of claws inserted into a hole provided at an end of a body are opened, closed and slid by the rotation of a rotary sleeve and a tool is clamped by means of the claws. A coating that is hard and has a low frictional coefficient as much as possible is applied to an inner surface of the hole.

An optical pickup device is made by combining two laser couplers LC1 and LC2 that are designed for optimum read/write specifications for optical discs which are different in format from each other. In one embodiment, two laser couplers LC1 and LC2 are incorporated on a common photodiode IC to form a single laser coupler, and the laser coupler is used in an optical pickup device.

摘要: A laser coupler comprises photodiodes formed on a photodiode IC, a microprism mounted on the photodiode IC to lie on the photodiodes, and a semiconductor laser mounted nearby on the photodiode IC such that a beam of light entering into the microprism through its incident surface is bifurcated and introduced onto the photodiodes. A difference between the amount of incident light to one of the photodiodes and the amount of incident light to the other of the photodiodes is corrected by adjusting a difference between the gain of a current-voltage converter amplifier coupled to one of the photodiodes and the gain of a current-voltage converter amplifier coupled to the other photodiode. Thus, the laser coupler can be fabricated economically.

摘要: An extremely useful rotating tool is provided that can prevent rattling caused by a clearance between a machine tool and a machine tool retaining hole while bringing the axial center position of the machine tool and the axial center position of the machine tool retaining hole as close together as possible. The present invention is a rotating tool having a rotating main shaft (4), and the rotating main shaft (4) is provided with a machine tool retaining hole (3) having a cross-sectional shape that substantially matches a base part (2) of a driver bit, drill bit, or other machine tool (1) having a polygonal cross-sectional shape that is inserted into the machine tool retaining hole (3), wherein the rotating tool rotates the machine tool (1) inserted in the machine tool retaining hole (3) by rotating the rotating main shaft (4) and performs work. A pushing mechanism is provided for rotating the machine tool (1) in a prescribed direction and twisting and pushing the machine tool (1) against an internal surface of the machine tool retaining hole (3).

摘要: A chuck device that prevents wear of ratchet teeth is provided. The chuck device includes a rotary sleeve which is rotated so that jaws inserted into a hole provided in a tip end of a body are slidingly opened and closed to thereby clamp a tool. Ratchet teeth forming an annular shape are provided in the body, an annular rotary member threadedly engaged with the jaws and rotated together with the rotary sleeve is fitted around the body inside of the rotary sleeve, a retainer spring member detachably engaging with the ratchet teeth is disposed outside of the ratchet teeth and the retainer spring member is provided so as to rotate a circumference of the ratchet teeth in accordance with the rotation of the rotary member. The ratchet teeth are formed of a harder member than the body, and the harder member is a discrete member from the body.

摘要: A keyless chuck is provided, comprising a generally cylindrical body having a forward and rearward portion with respect to an axis, the forward portion including a radially outwardly projecting portion of the body. The body further includes a plurality of guides extending obliquely to the axis and converging toward the forward section, and a groove extending around the body. Each of a plurality of jaws is slidably disposed within a respective guide and includes a thread section along an outer surface thereof. A jaw-engaging mechanism is configured to operably engage the groove so as to be rotatable around the body, and includes a thread section configured to complementarily engage the thread sections of the jaws. A sleeve extends over the jaw-engaging mechanism. A retaining member is disposed substantially within the sleeve, and is operably engaged with and extends between the body and the sleeve, rearwardly of the radially outwardly projecting portion of the body. The retaining member thereby axially constrains the sleeve with respect to movement toward the forward portion of the body. An associated method is also provided.

摘要: A compact and light flying head type magneto-optical head apparatus is provided. The magneto-optical head apparatus (1) of the present invention comprises a suspension (12) whose one end is fixed to a lower surface of an arm (11), a slider (13) fixed to a free end of the suspension (12), and a magnetic modulation coil (14) and an object lens (15) mounted on the slider (13). The slider (13) mounted with the magnetic modulation coil (14) and the object lens (15) floats due to a wind pressure caused by rotation of an MO disk (3). The magneto-optical head apparatus (1) is further provided with a collimeter lens (21) between a light source (71) and the object lens (15) in a hybrid optical apparatus (7) provided to the arm (11), and a position of the collimeter lens (21) can be adjusted vertically along an optical axis O-O by a collimeter actuator (23), so that optical conditions between the light source (71) and the object lens (15) are improved.
