摘要: A control apparatus suitable for use in a power window regulator is provided which has an electric motor for selectively moving a window glass in either one of two directions in which the window glass is fully closed and opened when an automode switch is first turned on. An energized state of the motor is held until the window glass reaches a position where it is fully closed or opened. The control apparatus comprises a capacitor, a holding circuit for holding the motor in an energized state during a period in which a detection voltage corresponding to a voltage applied across the capacitor is greater than a reference voltage, a cut-off circuit for discharging the electric charge stored in the capacitor in accordance with a predetermined time constant when a cut-off voltage exceeds an auxiliary reference voltage, and a clamping circuit for clamping the detection voltage to a constant voltage higher than the reference voltage when the discharge of the electric charge stored in the capacitor is initiated by the cut-off circuit. The cut-off circuit serves to clamp the detection voltage to the constant voltage higher than the reference voltage, and the time necessary to tighten the window glass corresponds to the period of time required to reduce the constant voltage thus clamped up to the reference voltage, thus achieving a constant period of time at all times.

摘要: A photo-coupler with delay function includes a fluorescent substance, a light-emitting diode disposed at one end of the fluorescent substance and a phototransistor disposed at the other end of the fluorescent substance. While a light emitted from the light-emitting diode is impinging on the fluorescent substance, it emits a fluorescence. The fluorescent substance emits a phosphorescence after an emission from the light-emitting diode is interrupted. In this arrangement, when the fluorescent substance is displaced with an operating plate, the light intermittently emitted from the light-emitting diode impinges on the fluorescent substance. The phototransistor selectively detects the light intermittently emitted from the light-emitting diode, the fluorescence and the phosphorescence both continuously emitted from the fluorescent substance.

摘要: An image processing apparatus which includes a light reception surface for generating a light reception signal from between a pair of electrodes when in a light receiving condition. Shutter means are provided which have numbers of shutter elements linearly or two-dimensionally arranged so as to correspond to the light reception element and so that an image is projected on front surfaces of the shutter elements. Scanning means are arranged to generate a scanning signal at a predetermined timing so as to successively cause the shutter elements to open in response to the scanning signal. Image encoding means process the light reception signal from the light reception element in the series in synchronism with the scanning signal to generate a coded signal which corresponds to the image projected on the shutter means.

摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for reliably detecting a touch operation in a touch sensitive control surface, despite the influence of light or the existence of an obstruction. In the touch tracer, LEDs and phototransistors for detecting a touch position on the input pad are arranged to form parallel optical axes in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. The optical axes of the LEDs and the phototransistors are alternately arranged in opposite directions to the adjacent optical axis. Moreover, the front surface of the phototransistor is closed except for an aperture that forms an optical axis only between opposing LEDs. The apertures are divided in half into top and bottom portions by a light-shielding film. Because of the light-shielding film, the phototransistor does not receive any light interference from the adjacent LED or incidental sunlight.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling a power window capable of maintaining an energized state of the motor to move a window glass, detecting a locked-rotor current flowing through the motor when the window glass reaches a limit position, and de-energizing the motor to stop the movement of the window glass when the locked-rotor current becomes larger than a predetermined value. The period of time for energization of the motor is longer than a period of time from a moment at which the "ON" operation of the automatic mode switch is cancelled to a moment at which the window glass reaches the limit position. It is thereby possible to automatically de-energize the motor when the window glass reaches the limit position, even if the locked-rotor current does not become larger than the predetermined value at this time due to the influence of temperatures or other causes.

摘要: Two leaf springs of substantially identical width which define first and second movable members are superposed on each other at one end and connected together. A movable contact is attached to the thus connected portion. The first movable member has a slot formed in a middle portion thereof. The width of an end portion of the second movable member is set so that the end portion can be inserted in the slot. A supporting member being inserted in the slot has a portion for swingably supporting an edge portion of the slot and another portion for swingably supporting an end portion of the second movable member opposite to the movable contact. The second movable member is curved so that upon application of a operating force to the first movable member the urging direction of the second movable member changes to cause a snap action to thereby selectively bring the movable contact into contact with one of the two fixed contacts. The width of the second movable member can be increased irrespective of the size of the slot, thus making it possible to provide a large urging force.

摘要: A switching device of the type in which a moving contact provided at the free end of a movable component formed of a plate spring is brought into contact with and separated from fixed contacts by depressing the movable component by means of an operating member. The movable component is equipped with first and second movable parts which are arranged face to face and which are connected to each other at their respective free ends. A first support portion supporting the first movable part which is depressed by the operating member, is positioned farther from the free end than a second support portion supporting the second movable part. The first movable part is equipped with a curved section which allows it to remain free of the second support portion when it is depressed by the operating member. Thus, when the operating member is manipulated, the first movable part can remain free of the second support portion by virtue of its curved portion, so that the first movable member need not be equipped with a through-hole for passing the second support portion.
