A signal sending method, a user equipment, and a base station which may flexibly adjust a power for signal sending and improve network performance, is presented. The method includes determining, by a first user equipment, at least one first physical resource block (PRB) used to send a first signal, and determining, by the first user equipment according to a position of the at least one first PRB, a transmit power used by the first user equipment to send the first signal over the at least one first PRB, and sending, by the first user equipment, the first signal over the at least one first PRB using the transmit power.

Embodiments relate to a communication method, user equipment, and a network device. A discovery message sent by second user equipment indicates cell information of the user equipment, so that first user equipment that receives the discovery message sends a communication request to a network device according to the discovery message. The communication request indicates the cell information of the second user equipment. The network device sends a paging message to the second user equipment according to a cell message of the second user equipment, which saves resources in a paging process of direct communication.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for searching for a network. The method includes: determining that a user equipment (UE) camping on a cell of a current public land mobile network (PLMN) is in an access barred state; determining that the UE cannot be successfully registered with the current PLMN; and performing a PLMN search. In the method and the apparatus for searching for a network according to embodiments of the present invention, if it is determined that the UE normally camping on the cell of the current PLMN is in the access barred state and cannot be successfully registered with the current PLMN, the PLMN search is performed, so that when the UE is in the access barred state, the UE can still perform the PLMN search, and can further select a new PLMN for access and execute a normal service, thereby improving user experience.

A resource allocation method and a device for direct communication between user devices are provided. The method includes determining, by a third device, a first resource, where the first resource includes some or all of a second resource, the second resource is determined by the third device before the first resource is determined, and the first resource and the second resource are both used for communication between a first user device and a second user device, and sending, by the third device, resource signaling to the first user device and/or the second user device, where the resource signaling carries information about the first resource. When a resource for direct communication changes, a normal direct communication service of user devices is ensured.

A resource configuration method includes determining, by a base station, a physical multicast channel (PMCH) resource area and a non-PMCH resource area in a resource of a data frame used for transmitting a multicast or broadcast signal, where the PMCH resource area is used to carry a PMCH, and the non-PMCH resource area is used to carry a physical downlink channel; and sending, by the base station, resource configuration information to a user equipment, where the resource configuration information contains at least one of a resource identifier corresponding to the PMCH resource area and a resource identifier corresponding to the non-PMCH resource area.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a synchronization signal carrying method and an apparatus. The synchronization signal carrying method in the present invention includes: determining, by first user equipment, a priority parameter of a synchronization signal; determining, by the first user equipment according to the priority parameter, a resource for carrying the synchronization signal, where a configuration of the resource indicates the priority parameter; and sending, by the first user equipment, the synchronization signal to second user equipment by using the resource, so that the second user equipment determines a synchronization signal for the second user equipment. The embodiments of the present invention enable a more flexible synchronization signal determining manner in a D2D communications system.

In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a communications system configures at least two control channels for a user equipment (UE). The communications system may use, in a process of reconfiguring a control channel, another control channel to send information about control over the UE to ensure that communication is not interrupted during cell handover of the UE.

A method, a device, and a system for sending and receiving a message for a ProSe. The method includes determining, by a base station, a device identifier list of a ProSe user equipment and a resource parameter that is used by the ProSe user equipment to send a discovery signal; and broadcasting, by the base station, a first indication message, where the first indication message indicates the device identifier list and the resource parameter, so that a first ProSe user equipment performs a ProSe with a second ProSe user equipment. According to the method and the device for sending and receiving a message for a ProSe that are provided by the embodiments, a rate that a ProSe user equipment is sensed can be improved.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a reference signal transmission method and user equipment. The method includes: determining, by a first user equipment, a first identifier related to the first user equipment; determining, by the first user equipment, a first cyclic shift indication from to-be-selected cyclic shift indications according to the first identifier; determining, by the first user equipment, first reference signal according to the first cyclic shift indication and a preset base sequence; and sending, by the first user equipment, the first reference signal to second user equipment, thereby implementing reference signal transmission in D2D communication.
