    Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a method includes: obtaining configuration information indicating first codebook subset information and second codebook subset information, wherein the first codebook subset information is associated with a first reference signal resource subset, the second codebook subset information is associated with a second reference signal resource subset, and the first reference signal resource subset and the second reference signal resource subset are respectively associated with different transmission configuration indication states; and sending a channel state information (CSI) report to a network device, wherein the CSI report is based on the first codebook subset information and the second codebook subset information.

    Abstract: An information transmission method, a base station, and user equipment are described. The method includes receiving a random access preamble sent by user equipment (UE) and generating first information according to the received random access preamble. The first information is random access response information, and the first information includes at least one of the following information: narrowband indication information used for transmission of a control channel, initialization parameter indication information of a demodulation reference signal scrambling sequence initialization parameter used for transmission of the control channel, coverage enhancement level indication information used for transmission of the control channel, or resource allocation information used for transmission of second information. The second information is response information to the first information. The method further includes sending the first information to the UE.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to retuning methods and apparatus. One example method includes determining a first resource and a second resource, where the first resource is used to receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the first resource is determined based on a first frequency domain resource and M consecutive symbols of a downlink pilot timeslot in a special subframe, the second resource is used to send a sounding reference signal (SRS), the second resource is determined based on a second frequency domain resource and an uplink pilot timeslot in the special subframe, all or a part of the second frequency domain resource is not in the first frequency domain resource, and determining, in the last N consecutive symbols of the downlink pilot timeslot, a guard period for retuning.

The method includes: generating cell selection information, where the cell selection information is associated with a configuration parameter of a reference signal of a cell; and sending the cell selection information.     Abstract: A resource allocation method includes: determining a resource block allocation field in downlink control information, where when a value indicated by five least significant bits of the resource block allocation field is less than or equal to 20, the five least significant bits of the resource block allocation field indicate a resource that is allocated within an indicated narrowband by using an uplink resource allocation type 0; or when a value indicated by five least significant bits of the resource block allocation field is greater than 20, the resource block allocation field indicates a quantity of resource block groups allocated to a terminal device and an index of a starting resource block group allocated to the terminal device. The method provided in this embodiment improves the coverage capability of the network. The method can be applied to the Internet of Things, such as MTC, IoT, LTE-M, M2M, etc.
