Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to perform an edge application server (EAS) discovery procedure for a user session. The WTRU may be configured to determine, based on the EAS discovery procedure, that there are no available target EAS (T-EAS) instances for the user session. The WTRU may be configured to determine whether the user session supports application context relocation (ACR) to a cloud application server (CAS) using ACR configuration information (ACI). The WTRU may be configured to establish a connection with the CAS based on the ACI. The WTRU may be configured to send a notification to one or more ACR entities indicating that ACR to the CAS has been initiated. The WTRU may be configured to obtain CAS details using the ACI.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) includes a processor configured to receive configuration information that includes information related to S-NSSAI support for each visited public land mobile network (VPLMN) of a plurality of VPLMNs, to receive a message indicating that an S-NSSAI is not available on a current VPLMN, and to send a request message including an indication that the S-NSSAI is not available in the current VPLMN, the request message being one of a deregistration message and a registration request message based on the configuration information.

Abstract: A WTRU may send a registration message to a first network node. The registration message may indicate a capability to perform a network performance prediction and may comprise information indicating AI operation types. The first network node which may determine whether the WTRU is permitted to request network performance prediction information. If the WTRU is permitted, the WTRU may send a packet data unit (PDU) session message that indicates a request to subscribe to network analytics associated with the AI operation types. A second network node may receive the PDU session message and may send a subscription message to a third network node. The subscription message may comprise, for example, the AI operation types. The second network node may receive a notification message that indicates information associated with the network analytics. The second network node may send to the WTRU a message indicating the information associated with the network analytics.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) operating in an “Onboarding Mode” may search for a network broadcasting Onboarding Capability Information (OCI), then register using onboarding credentials and receive SNPN credentials from the network. The UE may then exit onboarding mode, enter Manual Network Selection or Automatic Network Selection mode, and connect to the SNPN. A UE may also receive from a network a list of PLMNs and SNPNs that are equivalent then, when registering, indicate to the network that a requested slice is not associated with the UE's HPLMN, but is associated with an SNPN. The network may indicate to the UE how the slices of the network map to the slices of the SNPN, and may indicate whether a slice that is offered by the network only partially maps to a slice of the SNPN or HPLMN.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multi-subscriber identification module (SIM) connected mode operation. In one embodiment, a wireless communications device may receive, from an access stratum interface, a request access to the receiver chain during a receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the receiver chain is available during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a response indicating access is granted to cause the access stratum interface to receive a downlink transmission during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may receive, from the access stratum interface, a second request for a transmitter chain during a transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the transmitter chain is available during the transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a second response indicating access is granted to enable the access stratum interface to transmit an uplink transmission during the transmitting opportunity.

Abstract: A procedure performed by a network node of providing an Ambient IoT service (AIS) is described. The procedure includes a network node receiving an API request from an application server to perform a procedure with one or more ambient IoT devices. The request may include a time duration. The network node invokes a UDM service UDM to check application servicer authorization to perform the procedure. The network node determines at least an AMF identity. The network node invokes an AMF service requesting the AMF initiate a procedure with one or more ambient IoT devices. A response is received from the AMF including at least one identifier of an Ambient IoT device. The network nodes sends a response to the application server, the response including the at least one identifier of an Ambient IoT device.
